Beautiful club, great location, very affordable. Everything ran smoothly on the big day, thanks to Jody, the Clubs Special Events Coodinator and our Wedding Planner, Michelle working together. Would go back there in a minute to do it all over again.

Jody worked with me to make every detail of the event perfect. All staff were professional and attentive. Highly recommend this beautiful venue and amazing team!

I did a few tours of different venues and am so glad I toured SGCC! Jody has been fantastic to work with since day 1. She’s easy to communicate with, made great suggestions, easy to schedule with, and very friendly! Her and her team did an amazing job for our wedding reception and we are super grateful for everything they did to make the evening go smoothly. We had our wedding in October of 2021 and Claire was an amazing help! She was very flexible with our many changing plans due to Covid and was so helpful and patient. Our guests loved our venue and it’s natural lighting and we recommended it to so many other future newlyweds!

This venue is beautiful and one of the more affordable yet high quality venues in the Northern Virginia area for a large group. Claire and the entire staff at SGCC was extremely accommodating during the entire process.

We had to delay our wedding due to COVID which Claire helped us navigate. The food, decor, etc was great, and they were able to accommodate the bridal party getting ready at the venue as well as pictures with the full wedding party beforehand. We did cupcakes instead of cake. We also loved the balcony outside of the ballroom.

We had a 6 person band and 105 guests plus one bar and a photo booth. It would have been nice to have a second bar but I think the photo booth took up this space in the main room. There was plenty of room for additional guests but with COVID it was nice to have the extra room.

We fully recommend this venue - with SGCC you get a staff that works well with external vendors, has all of the perks of a restaurant (silverware, tablecloths, basic decor, catering director, etc), and a beautiful venue!

Just FYI for those wondering about COVID, we required all of our guests to get covid tests beforehand and vendors to wear masks but did not require our guests to wear masks since they were all tested.

As an older couple, we required a venue that was both grandchild friendly and sufficiently sophisticated for our adult guests. Jennifer made our celebration perfect for everyone. The food was exceptional, her suggestion of cupcakes in lieu of a wedding cake "spot on", and the friendly service by the staff ensured that everyone had a wonderful evening.

We can’t say enough about Springfield Golf & Country Club. We had 2 months to plan our wedding, and we were so lucky this venue was available. Jennifer, the event coordinator is fantastic, and very responsive. She was able to answer any and all questions we had, promptly. This was the first venue we visited, and we instantly fell in love. The location is gorgeous, the ballroom is newly renovated with a balcony looking over the golf course. The chandelier makes the room even more magical, and the standard table setup was unbelievable.

The day of the event was flawless. Everything went according, to plan, and I mean everything. We had a brunch style reception, and everything was setup beautifully. My Mom and sister were able to come in ahead of time to setup our decorations, with no issues. Jennifer, and staff provided exceptional service. The food was fantastic, and the dessert options were out of this world. Our guests were all impressed we were able to pull everything off so quickly, and raved about the venue. Everyone had a blast.

My husband and I were able to take gorgeous photos on the balcony and certain areas on the golf course. Jennifer was kind enough to meet with myself and the photographer prior to the event to discuss locations for the photography. The reception was in November, and the foliage as our backdrop was stunning.

Jennifer was great to work with. She was always responsive via phone and email. She worked with my parents a lot and they also had nothing but a positive experience working with Jennifer. The staff was super nice, friendly and professional at the country club; it is a beautiful, little gem in Springfield. It has been completely renovated and the room and balcony are so pretty, especially at sunset. A few of our guests asked us how we found the place.. as it was very close to home, almost in our own backyard! I'm so happy Jennifer responded to my initial email back in August when we were planning our engagement party here.
Additionally, the food was so yummy! Our guests raved about the appetizers, the cute sundae bar, and the cake! Overall, it was a great venue and wonderful experience. I will definitely consider having future events here such as bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties etc.

Springfield Golf and Country Club was a spectacular venue for our daughter’s wedding reception. They have an exquisite (recently renovated) ballroom that overlooks the 18th fairway, as does the large balcony. The balcony is especially inviting with plenty of seating around tables that we were allowed to decorate with pretty ivory lanterns. The ballroom was breathtaking. Part of the renovation included a beautiful chandelier and very luxurious dining chairs. We opted to upgrade the tablecloths and linens, which was well worth it. The dining tables and decor looked amazing. SGCC took a lot of care in preparing the ballroom for us. We had almost 150 guests who really enjoyed the atmosphere, the open bar, the variety of delicious hors d'oeuvres and the buffet. I was nervous about buffet versus table service, but it was very well coordinated and offered multiple entrees and sides for our guests to choose from. Everyone raved about the food! (My favorite was the salmon.)
Jennifer Kazmi, the Director of Catering and Special Events, was wonderful to work with. She was there for us throughout the planning process, including being present, on a Saturday, to welcome us to a private food and cake tasting. The chef prepared 7 delicious hors d’oeuvres, 4 entrees, 4 side dishes, and 2 salads, which they served to the future bride and groom, and me, in the ballroom setting. Believe me, it was more like a meal than a tasting. After some time, we were full, so Jennifer sent us home with a box full of cupcakes in several cake and icing flavors the couple had pre-selected. The tasting was beyond my expectations!
And I can’t thank Jennifer enough for the florist she recommended upon my request. “Toulies en Fleur” (Jill Medawar) provided stunning floral arrangements and marvelous decor for the ballroom, as well as gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres for the wedding. Jill set up the table décor and a variety of amazing floral arrangements in the ballroom that were much admired by the guests, one of whom told me that the large arrangements on very tall, transparent columns appeared to be floating in air. But back to the venue. Our reception was from 4-10 with open bar and a lot of dancing to dj music. The ballroom has a huge new dance floor, too! Jennifer was there at the outset of the reception to make sure that everything was perfect and Danielle and Matt both provided excellent support throughout the evening, especially to the bride and mother-of-the-bride. I wanted to make the reception magical and memorable for Kerry-Anne and David and I felt that Jennifer and everyone at SGCC wanted that, too!

I looked around at different venues for awhile but the second I walked into the ballroom at Springfield Golf and Country Club I knew right away that I wanted to have my wedding reception there! It is absolutely gorgeous with the best views! The staff was professional and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and was a big hit with all of the guests! Also, Jennifer is amazing. She was so sweet and kind and always very responsive and willing to answer any and all of my questions. When I first went to take a tour they were in the process of re-doing parts of the club including the ballroom. Jennifer took the time to show what things were going to look like and help to give us a vision of what to expect. She was so helpful in all aspects and made sure that everything ran smoothly. I am SO happy that I chose Springfield Golf and Country Club to have my wedding reception and I would 100% recommend them!
