She truly was incredible from the little things like making sure my veil and train were set properly as I walked down the isle (which I did not even feel her behind me setting them up, an absolute angel!!!) to coordinating with vendors and set up and break down, to I am sure the 100 other smaller things that made the day go perfectly. Choosing Sasha to be our coordinator was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We did “The Love Boat” package and started working with her a month before our wedding. But even before our work together started, Sasha would send us wedding ideas and even spent time showing us linen swatches.

Coordinating with Sasha truly helped us finalize things we had been working on, find the holes in our planning and helped us with the things we hadn’t even thought of. I first heard about Sasha I believe on Instagram. I live in Pittsburgh, PA, so when we decided we wanted to get married in OBX I had to do lots of research. I really enjoyed how Sasha posted on Instagram of weddings she has done. I also was new to the wedding details when planning and had no idea what a coordinator did LOL. I chose the “day of coordination” and I couldn’t have been happier. I did lots of planning and organizing myself, so when we came down to OBX for our wedding, it was “smooth sailing” for Sasha and Alta ;)

During wedding planning it was frustrating to not know how the day is going to go with all the small details. And as mentioned before, being out of state can be very frustrating. We got married at an event home that has never had a wedding where our vendors were before, so nobody knew how it was going to be laid out. Of course, it ended up being beautiful thanks to Sasha and Alta working their magic.

I was surprised when Sasha made the wedding timeline and put when she would arrive and when she would be leaving the wedding. She and Alta worked all day!!!! I was also surprised that the day of, I didn’t lift a finger. Sasha made sure to find me throughout the morning and ensure that everything is going ok and to just relax.

I cannot think of anything that Smooth Sailing needs to improve on. The communication was amazing and professional. Throughout this process you truly seemed like a friend. You were amazing to my family as well. The prepping of the tables and details was awesome.

Originally we were not going to book a wedding coordinator. I believe I only had phone calls with Sasha when trying to find someone. With an out of state wedding and my guest count being 40, it felt as though I didn’t need someone to help. HOWEVER, Sasha’s day of coordination package was perfect for us. It allowed us to do the “wedding planning” over the year of being engaged. But a few weeks before I truly felt like Sasha took all the “planning” and details of vendors off my hands.
