Hiring Sasha as our co-planner was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding—truly, no notes. After my first conversation with her, it was immediately clear how much value she could bring. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the Outer Banks, local vendors, and all the possibilities for weddings there, and she somehow made all the small decisions that had been starting to overwhelm me feel easy and manageable. I remember hanging up feeling so much calmer and actually excited instead of stressed, and I quickly knew I wanted her more involved in our planning. I’m so grateful we had her as our co-planner. I genuinely cannot imagine our wedding without her. Throughout our 16 months of planning, Sasha was generous with her time, detail-oriented, and always made us feel like a priority. She is thoughtful, decisive, organized, and such an incredible problem solver. On the stressful days, she has this way of instantly calming you down and making everything feel under control again. One thing that stood out early on was her question about whether we wanted to prioritize the look, the feeling, or the memories of our wedding. That intentional approach guided everything, and she helped us create a wedding that felt beautiful, timeless, and so “us,” while still being mindful of budget. I came in with a Pinterest board and ideas, and she helped refine everything into something even better. Her knowledge of the Outer Banks wedding community was invaluable, and her vendor recommendations were spot on—every single one delivered flawlessly. On our wedding weekend, she handled a very windy situation without missing a beat, including suggesting during our rehearsal that we switch ceremony sides based on wind direction so my hair wouldn’t be in my face the entire time. Such a small thing, but it made a huge difference and is such a perfect example of how she thinks ten steps ahead. On wedding day, Sasha and her assistant absolutely crushed it. They handled everything behind the scenes—from setup to vendor coordination to making sure family, wedding party, and guests all knew where they needed to be and when—so seamlessly that we never once had to think about logistics. Everything just ran. Because of Sasha, we were actually able to be present the entire day. We trusted her completely, and if anything went wrong, we never knew about it. She kept everything running smoothly and on time so everyone else could just enjoy it. She is kind, fun to be around, professional, and incredibly capable. After working together for 16 months, we truly feel like we gained a friend. We cannot recommend Sasha enough—our wedding would not have been the same without her!

Of all the decisions we made while planning the wedding, using The Finer Points was absolutely one of the very best ones we made. Lynn Iannizzi is a consummate professional who knows the area, the vendors, the "must haves" and the "not necessary" parts of a beautiful wedding/event. All the vendors she recommended were phenomenal, her preparation and time lines were impeccable. We ran into a potentially serious venue issue about 6 weeks prior to the wedding and within 24 hours we had 3 viable alternate options which alleviated a tremendous amount of stress. The day of the wedding we had nothing worry about, Lynn and her team took care of everything. I cannot recommend The Finer Points enough!

Planning a destination wedding can be incredibly stressful, but Ashley and Whitney from Southern Hospitality Weddings made the entire process feel easy, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable! Just when I thought I had thought of every detail, Ashley and Whitney would help fill in any gaps I was missing. Our shared Google Doc made it so easy to be on the same page. They made tedious work seem seamless every step of the way. As a very particular bride, it’s hard to plan everything so precisely and trust that your vision will be carried out, but they did just that, and more! When unexpected rain forced us to make a choice about moving dinner indoors, Ashley and Whitney were calm and patient as we decided how to proceed. They laid our options out clearly and we chose to play it safe. We are beyond grateful that we did because they somehow completely transformed the indoor space beyond our wildest dreams! It was even more beautiful than any plan we had in place! Despite the weather challenges with dinner, they preserved every other event outdoors, kept everything running perfectly on the timeline, and moved quickly and efficiently while maintaining the calmest, most reassuring presence! Ashley and Whitney were sweet, thoughtful, and professional. They made sure we always had drinks in hand, helped flawlessly with my dress transformation, and truly took care of us all day and night. Multiple friends and family members went out of their way to comment on how exceptional they were, which says everything. I cannot recommend Ashley and Whitney enough!
