I'm so glad we came across this catering company and that they were willing to travel to our venue! Despite being a bit of a drive away and only coming to our venue a handful of times.. this catering company knocked everything out of the park. They were great at communicating and following our requests! They even put some of our apps to the side so my fiancé and I could still enjoy when we finished pictures. Our friends and family were so impressed with their beautiful set up and how delicious the food was! They were even able to accommodate for our friends and family who were vegetarian and gluten free. I HIGHLY recommend Just Desserts (:

The cake Robin made for our wedding at the Roanoke Island Aquarium was spectacular. It was absolutely perfect, our guests were so amazed at all of the detail work that she put into it; the white chocolate starfish/shells, the hard-candy sea glass, and the beach fencing. We had originally ordered a 3 tier cake but when we gave Robin our final head count a week before the wedding she informed me that she didn’t think it would be enough for 140 people and suggested that we get the 4 tier cake. We were hesitant at first because we didn’t want to take a ton of cake back home, but in the end decided to go with the larger cake and man was it a good idea! We had hardly any cake left over. Other than the piece that we initially cut my husband and I didn’t get to eat any of the cake. We heard from our guests that the cake was delicious especially the red velvet! As at most weddings we were sent home with the top of the cake. However, we heard many different stories (mostly horror) about freezing the cake for our 1 year anniversary. So we decided to eat the top layer at our 1 week anniversary and it was delicious even then! Thank you Robin for the delicious and beautiful cake!

My wedding cake was so incredibly pretty and also delicious! Everyone loved it and also the cupcakes Debra made. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience with cotton candy baking company! Megan was responsive, easy, and nonstressful! Her cupcakes are to DIE FOR! We got vanilla, sweet and salty, and the oreo cupcakes. There was an actual oreo at the bottom of the cupcake!! We got a free freezer cake for our anniversay. Megan was in and out in such a brief time which was great to know she did her job without me noticing! I cannot say anything negative about her. HIGHLY recommend!

Tasted great and looked amazing! The detail was fantastic and they helped me decided what to do living out of state!

Northern Lights created the most beautiful cake and cupcakes for my wedding! The cupcakes were made to match my wedding (blush colored icing with gold sparkle sugar) Not to mention it was delicious! The Italian buttercream icing is amazing! They were so great to work with and really listened to exactly what I wanted. I was nervous because I called the week before my wedding to order the cake and they put all worries at ease. I am so happy I went with Northern Lights Bakery! Definitely recommend!

I really don’t think anything I say will do Patrice justice, but I’ll try! Patrice is absolutely incredible. We opted to go with a dessert bar and very single thing we ordered was decadent! Our wedding cake was delicious and perfect, and people we went CRAZY over her oatmeal cream pies! Patrice makes the planning process SO easy! I planned my wedding from afar and she was excellent to work with even with a 6 hour time difference. She guided me to choose an appropriate amount of items tailored to my wedding size and helped by making great suggestions. We did meet in person for a cake tasting (which were the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had, it is SO hard to choose from all her incredible flavors!) but for the rest of the planning we met virtually and planning was flawless. On the day of the wedding she came exactly on time and set up my dessert bar beautifully, and let me know where all the extra were stored so we could refill the display or take things home. She also put together special bride and groom boxes to ensure my husband and I would get a chance to have one of everything! Patrice is one of the warmest and nicest people I’ve ever met and I’m so happy we decided to have her bake for our wedding! My entire guest list couldn’t believe how good every single dessert was! The prices were also very affordable! We had about 65 people and paid about $1200 (for everything!), we had WAY TOO MUCH (the pictures I posted don’t show the boxes and boxes of extras), because I didn’t listen to Patrice and I over ordered, bottom line - listen to Patrice and her suggestions/guidance she will not steer you wrong! On the bright side, I was able to send folks home with delicious desserts and we got to enjoy them for days after the wedding :)

We used Candace/sweet coast cakes for our wedding cake, and she is amazing! She was very responsive, kind, and helpful. Super easy to work with. I gave her an inspo picture, and the cake turned out very similar and beautiful. Was also incredibly tasty! Definitely recommend!
