Owner/operator Candice Smith has been in the pastry business for over 16 years. Her cakes are not only works of art, they are also delicious! Sweet Coast Cakes uses fresh, organic, and local ingredients any chance she gets in order to make your cakes the most delicious. Additionally, Candice can accommodate dietary needs by providing gluten-free options (due to Covid-19 and a limited steady supply of some ingridients gluten free options cannot be guaranteed). Candace is amazing!

We used Candace/sweet coast cakes for our wedding cake, and she is amazing! She was very responsive, kind, and helpful. Super easy to work with. I gave her an inspo picture, and the cake turned out very similar and beautiful. Was also incredibly tasty! Definitely recommend!

Wedding Cake and Cupcakes

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I cannot say enough about the communication and the quality! Everything was so great. My guests were RAVING about the taste! We made sure to have extras since we were staying for the week from out of town. The cupcakes were amazing even days after the wedding! I would recommend Sweet Coast Cakes 10/10 times!

Beautiful Anniversary Cake

Candace created a delicious cake for my parents 60th wedding anniversary party. It was beautifully decorated to fit our beach theme and couldn’t have been more perfect. Cost was very reasonable and the customer service outstanding. Thank you, Candace!

Beautiful and YUMMY!!!

Candice took our picture that we provided of a wedding cake and also a birthday cake for someone celebrating that same day and they both turned out amazing!!! The cakes were just beautiful as well as delicious!!

Cakes are delicious!

We had our wedding on the 4x4 beach in Corolla so we picked the cake and cupcakes up. She had everything boxed up for our long journey and explained how to put them together when we got to our house. Everything was beautiful and tasted amazing!!

Delicious!

We chose Candice because we wanted a variety of cupcakes and a small wedding topper, and she delivered! Being a destination wedding, we never tasted Candice’s cake until we cut the cake, and the raspberry almond was so very tasty! Our guests thought their cupcakes were delicious, too!

Candice was an absolute pleasure to work with. While the cake I wanted was simple, she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and it was delicious! She was also able to accommodate dietary needs that we had (gluten free), which was an added bonus! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Best cake ever!

Candice makes the process of figuring out your wedding dessert options so easy! We went with a small cutting cake and a variety of cupcakes for our guests. Our guests could not stop raving about how good the cupcakes were and they all wanted one of each flavor. We did a cake testing with Candice to figure out what flavor we wanted our cutting cake to be and it was a hard choice because they were ALL SO GOOD! If I ever need another cake/cupcake or anything while I am in the Outer Banks I will be seeing if Candice is available.

Sweet coast cakes is incredible

Candace created an incredible set of cakes for our daughter's Star Wars themed wedding. The cakes looked spectacular. However, when we finally got the courage to cut them, we found out something. They tasted better than they looked. The bride and groom were over the top happy with the cakes and cupcakes and everyone who attended was in awe of the cakes. Thank you Candace
