Candace is amazing!
We used Candace/sweet coast cakes for our wedding cake, and she is amazing! She was very responsive, kind, and helpful. Super easy to work with. I gave her an inspo picture, and the cake turned out very similar and beautiful. Was also incredibly tasty! Definitely recommend! -

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I cannot say enough about the communication and the quality! Everything was so great. My guests were RAVING about the taste! We made sure to have extras since we were staying for the week from out of town. The cupcakes were amazing even days after the wedding! I would recommend Sweet Coast Cakes 10/10 times! -

Beautiful Anniversary Cake
Candace created a delicious cake for my parents 60th wedding anniversary party. It was beautifully decorated to fit our beach theme and couldn’t have been more perfect. Cost was very reasonable and the customer service outstanding. Thank you, Candace! -

We had our wedding on the 4x4 beach in Corolla so we picked the cake and cupcakes up. She had everything boxed up for our long journey and explained how to put them together when we got to our house. Everything was beautiful and tasted amazing!! -

We chose Candice because we wanted a variety of cupcakes and a small wedding topper, and she delivered! Being a destination wedding, we never tasted Candice’s cake until we cut the cake, and the raspberry almond was so very tasty! Our guests thought their cupcakes were delicious, too! -

Candice was an absolute pleasure to work with. While the cake I wanted was simple, she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and it was delicious! She was also able to accommodate dietary needs that we had (gluten free), which was an added bonus! I would highly recommend her to anyone! -

Candace created an incredible set of cakes for our daughter's Star Wars themed wedding. The cakes looked spectacular. However, when we finally got the courage to cut them, we found out something. They tasted better than they looked. The bride and groom were over the top happy with the cakes and cupcakes and everyone who attended was in awe of the cakes. Thank you Candace -

Amazing Experience!
Planned our Outer Banks wedding from out of state and Candice made it so easy and fun! From our cake tasting up to the big day everything was a breeze. She took our vision and made it come to life, we were blown away when we saw our cake. The taste was absolutely amazing we still have guests raving about the cake to this day! -

Candice is absolutely amazing! My husband and I planned our wedding from out of state, and Candice made the process of ordering our cake very easy. She was so kind from the first email. She brought my vision for our beach themed wedding cake to life, even better than I could have imagined! The cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend Sweet Coast Cakes for you wedding cake or any other celebration needs in the Outer Banks! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We enjoyed the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake. Our consultation was done through emails because of covid and Candice was fantastic to work with. Cupcakes were beautiful and delicious too, esp the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting yum yum . Had the most compliments on looks and taste especially with the almond wedding cake... perfection . Wonderful in every way
Candice created a beautiful beach-themed wedding cake for our daughter's pandemic beach wedding. The flavors were fantastic and it looked so beachy and beautiful. Candice went above and beyond when we had trouble getting the cake topper delivered (ugh, 2020!). She was incredibly patient and delightful to work with. Highly recommend! -

Candice at Sweet Coast Cakes was the absolute sweetest (no pun intended) My fiancé and I used her for our cutting cake at our 10/04/20 wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous and delicious! She was easy to work with, explained everything up front and was very prompt with her replies. As a bride trying to plan a destination wedding during COVID, it was a relief knowing that we had found someone experienced and reliable. Would highly recommend and will be using her again in the future! -

Sweet Treat!
Sweet Coast Cakes did our wedding cupcakes - his and hers flavors. They were absolutely perfect and, not to mention, delicious! They arranged them beautifully and everyone enjoyed them. We look forward to enjoying them again on our anniversary! -

I should start off by saying, we didn't actually get to have a cake from Sweet Coast Cakes, as we canceled our wedding due to Covid-19 but I felt the experience I had with Sweet Coast Cakes was worth rating. Candice was incredible from the start. She was super responsive, quick to answer all my questions and adjust to all the changes I made. The variety they offer is amazing and I'm confident that the cake would have been perfect. The part that I really felt the need to review was how understanding Candice was. Most of the vendors we used were gracious about the fact we had to cancel but some were not. Candice didn't even hesitate, when I cancelled she refunded me 100% instantly. I know this isn't usually the case and didn't expect it but seeing as I've lost a good bit of money in the last week, I appreciated it immensely. I hope for those who are having weddings in OBX, you are able to use Sweet Coast Cakes because I am confident you won't be disappointed! Thank you! -

So delicious!!!
Candice was amazing to work with. She was extremely responsive to emails and questions. Our guests were in love and were literally fighting over the leftover cupcakes at the end of the night. Her red velvet with cookies and cream frosting were a DREAM! Also, I really had no idea how to explain what I wanted for a cake and just mentioned a few ideas and she was able to make our cake exactly as I imagined. We couldn't have asked for a more delicious dessert table all thanks to Candice! -
