I really don’t think anything I say will do Patrice justice, but I’ll try!
Patrice is absolutely incredible. We opted to go with a dessert bar and very single thing we ordered was decadent! Our wedding cake was delicious and perfect, and people we went CRAZY over her oatmeal cream pies!
Patrice makes the planning process SO easy! I planned my wedding from afar and she was excellent to work with even with a 6 hour time difference. She guided me to choose an appropriate amount of items tailored to my wedding size and helped by making great suggestions. We did meet in person for a cake tasting (which were the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had, it is SO hard to choose from all her incredible flavors!) but for the rest of the planning we met virtually and planning was flawless.
On the day of the wedding she came exactly on time and set up my dessert bar beautifully, and let me know where all the extra were stored so we could refill the display or take things home. She also put together special bride and groom boxes to ensure my husband and I would get a chance to have one of everything! Patrice is one of the warmest and nicest people I’ve ever met and I’m so happy we decided to have her bake for our wedding! My entire guest list couldn’t believe how good every single dessert was!
The prices were also very affordable! We had about 65 people and paid about $1200 (for everything!), we had WAY TOO MUCH (the pictures I posted don’t show the boxes and boxes of extras), because I didn’t listen to Patrice and I over ordered, bottom line - listen to Patrice and her suggestions/guidance she will not steer you wrong! On the bright side, I was able to send folks home with delicious desserts and we got to enjoy them for days after the wedding :)

By far the best wedding cake that you will ever taste in your life, created by one of the best people you will ever meet. Patrice is pure joy, compassion, and magic. As someone who is obsessed with dessert, the wedding cake was high on our priority list. When we tasted a Patty Bakes cake – we knew there was no going back. She was the one. She was invested in every stage of our process – ensuring that we were able to taste everything, talking through our vision, and even incorporating our cat into the wedding cake! By the end of our first conversation, I felt like I knew her all my life, and I knew we were in good hands. We trusted her to create a cake that aligned with our wedding vision, and when we saw it for the first time, I got weak in the knees. She captured our personality into a wedding cake. We did not think that was possible. Our guests raved about the cake all night (Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel, Banana Nutella, and Mint Chocolate Chip). To be fair, they’re still raving about it…Thank you SOOO much for going above and beyond to make our wedding beautiful! We love you!!

Patty was so great to work with! My now husband and I decided to do cupcakes with a small single-tier cake for ourselves. Patty walked us through everything, including the recommended number of cupcakes needed for our guest count. I never got the pleasure of meeting her in person, but my day of coordinator was beyond pleased with everything. Including that the cupcakes looked so amazing she was drooling! I gave permission for her to steal one, and the next message I received was "money VERY well spent!!!!". This was the sentiment shared by quite literally everyone, including us! Patty, everything looked and tasted AMAZING! If you ever come to the Chicago area, PLEASE bring cupcakes! Thank you for everything!!!!!!

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing our wedding cake was. It was easily one of my favorite details of our wedding. It tasted just as incredible as it looked. Patrice's flavors are the best I have had. Our guests raved about our cake and everyone was eating leftovers at breakfast the next morning! She took my inspiration of a "hand-painted" floral buttercream cake that matched the flowers on my bouquet and made it even better than I imagined. She is extremely detail-oriented, responsive, and organized. We had a call prior to the wedding discussing what I wanted and she created an inspo board and hand-drawn design of the cake for me to have an idea of what it would look like, going above and beyond anything I ever expected! She is also extremely kind and sweet. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you Patrice!

I can't say enough about how much we loved our cake! Our cake was ocean inspired and not only was it gorgeous...it was also beyond delicious!! We went with 2 flavors (the sea the sea and honey bun) and several guests even tried both flavors. Patrice is also the sweetest and was truly amazing to work with from the cake tasting all the way to the big day! This cake was far too pretty to smash...but my husband did get some blue icing on his nose ;)

Patrice is the best. Hands down. Not only is Patrice an amazingly caring and wonderful person, her cakes and desserts are beautiful and delicious. A true talent. Every single person from our wedding stopped me to rave about all of the desserts. Our cake was gorgeous, exactly what we wanted, and tasted AMAZING! If you are doing a dessert table- do not pass up the s’mores treats and the oatmeal cream pies. Patrice also made custom cookies for our rehearsal, she went above and beyond to help me surprise my husband with walleye shaped cookies. Once again, not only were they beautiful, they were so delicious that my mom wants to order them just to have some more. If I could give PattyBakes a review with endless stars I would.

Patrice is incredible! Not only was she such a joy to work with, but her desserts are the most delicious works of art! I did a tasting with her over a year before my wedding, and just from meeting her I knew I wanted her to bake for my wedding. She's so personable, professional and kind. Plus, her baking is top notch! Our dessert bar was such a hit, we had ZERO leftover. And our wedding cakes were incredible, we definitely made sure we saved some! I cannot recommend Patrice enough! We're already planning to return to OBX this summer, and ordering some of her Oatmeal Pies & S'mores bars are on our to do list!

I’d read many reviews of how good Patrice’s cake were (100% true) and fell in love with many of her designs. My daughter and I were delighted she was available to make her cake on her wedding day and also added many of the fabulous desserts my daughter and her groom loved and sampled at their tasting. It was stunning!! All the desserts were gorgeous but were also more importantly delicious!! Patrice was also so warm and fun and made you feel like you were talking to a close friend. We were delighted by her and would definitely recommend her services to anyone planning their wedding!

I loved Patty's cakes the minute I saw them. Initially, I just wanted treats that our guests could easily grab but I fell in LOVE with her designs. The dreamy romantic painted flower cake that resulted was so beautiful and yummy.

On top of that the other treats we ordered my guests are literally still talking about, giant cookies, smores treats, cupcakes... are you hungry yet? They were ALL AMAZING!

This woman is amazing!! So personable and easy to talk to! All of her desserts were so amazing! We had to stop tasting them!! Her cookies!! Get her cookies!! They are soooo good, I’ve gotten her cookie kits two years in a row now! Her funfetti cake she made for our wedding was incredible and she even put our dogs on it!!! :) we will continue to get desserts from Patty!
