From the very beginning, Bruce was incredibly kind, professional, and so easy to work with. He was always quick to respond throughout the planning process and completely understood and executed our vision for the music and dance floor. I truly never stopped dancing! My dress has the evidence to prove it! 😂 Everyone was on the dance floor until the very end of the night, even friends and family who aren’t typically dancers.

He also helped make one of the most meaningful moments of our wedding possible. During what would have traditionally been the father-daughter dance, I danced with my mom and invited all of our guests to join us in remembrance of my dad. Bruce helped turn that vision into a moment that was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.

He even handled an unexpected situation so seamlessly and professionally that we didn’t even realize anything had happened until afterward… we were too busy dancing!

In EVERY way possible, Bruce was amazing. Bruce, we truly cannot thank you enough for being part of the best day of our lives. You gave us an unforgettable night and so many moments we’ll carry with us forever.

When I dreamed about my wedding day, I think I dreamed about the music more than anything else. Because of that, I knew our DJ had a very important role to fill—and DJ Bruce exceeded every expectation I had!

From the very beginning, DJ Bruce was incredibly accommodating to every request and every dream I had for our reception, no matter how many Taylor Swift songs I requested! He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted the energy of our reception to feel like and then brought that vision to life perfectly.

Our reception felt like an actual live music performance—not someone simply pressing play on a playlist. Bruce expertly mashed songs together, created seamless transitions, and kept the energy going all night long. There was never an awkward lull or a moment when the dance floor lost momentum. The music flowed so naturally, and our guests were dancing the entire night. He was truly phenomenal!

He also did an excellent job making all of the necessary announcements throughout the evening without talking over the reception or making himself the focus. He knew exactly when to step in and what needed to be communicated, while allowing the music and the celebration to remain the center of attention.

DJ Bruce played a huge role in making our wedding reception everything I had dreamed it would be. The music, the energy, and the atmosphere were absolutely perfect, and we are so grateful for the care and talent he brought to our wedding day. If the music and dancing are important to you, I cannot recommend DJ Bruce highly enough!

We are forever grateful for DJ Bruce!!! He made our wedding unforgettable! Our guests were raving over how great he was, some say the best wedding DJ they’ve ever heard. We had a small wedding of about 45 people and he had the dance floor packed for the entire reception!! He was great to work with and easy going. He sent a thorough questionnaire prior to the wedding, but I personally gave him minimal guidance which I’m so grateful I did! With his experience in weddings, he truly is the professional, and if you book him I highly encourage you to allow him to showcase his talents! We are so grateful for DJ Bruce, you should book him ASAP!!!

Hiring DJ Bruce for our wedding is one of the best decions we made! He went above and beyond and kept everyone dancing the whole time (I'm not kidding, even my grandma lol) People keep telling us even after the wedding how much they loved the DJ. DJ Bruce was the best, I can’t recommend him enough! We had him for our May 2026 wedding and everyone raved about our music - he played songs for all ages and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. He was also great at announcing and keeping all of the transitions smooth throughout the night. We truly had the time of our lives thanks to him!

DJ Bruce was incredible! His questionnairre helped us organize the music for our day in a very detailed way (which we loved!) Bruce was perfectly in sync with our planners (Southern Hospitality) to get our very particular timing down for ceremony entrances. When my dress and veil were nearly caught up in a bush as I walked down the aisle, Bruce saved the day by going abow and beyond to help me! The dinner music he selected set a romantic tone admist our candlelit meal. Bruce was able to create a custom mash-up song for my father daughter dance, which brough everyone to tears. He read the crowd so well on the dancefloor and got everyone of all ages out dancing! All of our guests had so much fun and he played all of our favorite requests. 10/10 would recommend!

Highly recommend hiring DH Bruce! He handled our ceremony mics, ceremony music, cocktail hour and dinner music and listened to all of our preferences. Once the dance floor was open it was full all night. DJ Bruce was great at paying attention to the vibe of the dance floor to make sure guests were happy!

We truly could not have asked for a better DJ. We had an intimate beach wedding in Corolla, NC, and we wanted someone who could match the laid-back, intentional vibe we worked so hard to create. DJ Bruce did that... and so much more.
We wanted to make sure our ceremony had that were individual to us. That everyone could hear the ceremony with the waves crashing in the background. Songs during cocktail hour and dinner that everyone knew and could sing along to. The perfect mix of oldies and new, songs that our families and friends both loved. And then we wanted everyone to spend the entire night afterwards on the dance floor! And he brought ALL of that! The perfect mix of energy, warmth, and professionalism. Every single song felt so thoughtful, well-timed, and tailored to our day and our people. He had the groom taking off his shirt and doing the worm 1 song into the reception before we even cut the cake! And when we decided to jump in the pool at the end of the night Bruce just didn’t miss a beat! He had every single person jumping in the pool after us.
Bruce never felt like a “vendor”— he felt like such a huge part of our day and so unforgettable. All of our friends and family could not stop talking about our DJ for the entire rest of our stay in the Outer Banks! We feel so fortunate to have had him be apart of our small, intentional, beachside wedding. If you are looking for a DJ this is your guy!
