The Brooklyn Beats & working with Jon was the best decision we made as an add-on to our wedding on New Year's Eve 2025. We had a trio (singer, keyboardist, saxophonist) perform at our Cocktail Hour and they played throwback hits that performed so well and set the tone for our event. Sean crushed every song from Billy Joel to Jay-Z to Michael Jackson to Bruce Springsteen. The music was such a fun component to our beginning of the night. Then we had Matt on the saxophone come up to the reception and perform during the entire reception during select songs which he absolutely blew everyone away with - it was the talk of the night and one of the most talked about moments of the event, it was the perfect add-on with our DJ who played mostly hip-hop and EDM hits. The team was so willing to work with our DJ to integrate the saxophone and worked perfectly in the venue setting up the most amazing position next to the bar during Cocktail Hour. I could not recommend The Brooklyn Beats more for dynamic, fun, energizing and soulful performances for your NYC wedding!

There is NOTHING I love more than a live band and as a bride who had the privilege of having The Storytellers at my wedding, I can confidently say that it was the BEST decision I made during my entire wedding experience. They not only have all the amazing talents that come with a band, beautiful vocals and unbelievable skills with different instruments BUT they have IMMACULATE vibes that kept everyone out of their seats, up on their feet and dancing. Working with them was incredibly easy AND I had put my entire trust in them because I knew they know how to throw an amazing party! They have the longest list of songs I have ever seen with the widest range. The entire night they had songs playing that met every generation and didn't miss a beat! This is now the second wedding that my family has booked The Storytellers and they have proven with each event that THEY ARE IT! BRIDES! If you have the smallest inkling that you may want a band, DO IT, and do it with The Storytellers! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!

We cannot thank Jeff and the band enough for everything they did to make our wedding reception a fantastic experience. Even weeks after our event, the number one thing mentioned from our guests was how amazing the entire band was. Jeff truly goes the extra mile to make sure he connects with his clients on both a professional and personal level. The variety of music played allowed for guests of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy. Not to mention they are all fantastic musicians. We are so hopeful to attend another wedding where The Jeff Lubin Band performs but in the meantime, we will be sure to catch one of his shows in Manhattan this winter. We cannot recommend him enough. If you are on the fence between a band and a DJ, choose Jeff. If you are debating which band to go with, choose Jeff. When in doubt, Jeff is your guy!

Mod Society was so incredible and made all of our wedding dreams come true! We had an unconventional request for laid back music from the band followed by dancing music from the DJ. They understood the vision right away and delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The band was unbelievable - we keep hearing from our guests how great the band was and how we found them! All the songs we asked them to learn, they knocked out of the park. And their outfits were also perfect for our vibe and such a stylish bonus, which we didn’t even consider as a possibility! Claudio as our DJ then absolutely nailed the energy we were hoping for, and made for an amazing dance party with energy off the charts all the way through the last song. The whole team was so open minded and collaborative throughout planning, and so talented!! We would recommend them 10/10 times!!

We were looking for a 7 piece band with horns (trumpet / sax) who could play a wide variety of genres, as we typically don’t listen to Top 40 music. Our wedding was disco-themed, and we also had a ton of ideas for groove/soul/funk/RnB songs to play. We found Mitch through a Reddit post where others recommended his band for being able to cover any song. He had a lightning quick response time, was always friendly and professional, and checked in with us regularly leading up to the wedding. Plus, the quote we received from him was very reasonable compared to many other bands we were interested in. Their musicianship was top notch. They based their track list off of our many requested songs, and were even flexible to rotate band members during their meal break so we didn’t have to put on a playlist. And when we unexpectedly had to shift the order of events at dinner, they were able to switch gears quickly. Everyone had so much fun singing and dancing along. We only wish we had the venue for a few more hours to extend the music longer! We’d definitely recommend the Mitch Marcus band to anyone looking to elevate their wedding celebration.

Eric and his band have been playing together for years. They have a wide repetoire of songs they know. If they don't know it, then they'll learn it. One thing they do super-fabulously is Jewish Music, even though they're not a Jewish band. I had a 20 minute hora that was active, upbeat, and diverse.

We worked with The Current Affair for our wedding this past weekend on 10/12/24. I'm not kidding when I say the band moved me to tears numerous times throughout the night, they were SO GOOD. Every person was dancing the entire night and numerous people got the bands cards at the end of the night for future events. Working with them leading up to the event was also seamless and they were very responsive. We had 3 of the band members play at our cocktail hour too. We shared a Spotify playlist of what we wanted as a reference party but knew that they knew best in terms of getting people on the dance floor and thats what they did. They helped us throw the greatest party ever!

We had such an amazing time with Brooklyn Jazz sessions. Erin has such a fantastic voice and the band is just so talented. We got lots of compliments from our wedding guest. And their music was definitely the highlight of our wedding. Leading up to the wedding Erin was super responsive when it came to planning and the set list was great. The value was fantastic especially since this wonderful band added so much to our experience.
