Hands down the best investment we made for our wedding. Cafe Wha? absolutely KILLED it at our wedding and we had SO MUCH FUN thanks to them. So many guests reported to us that this is the best wedding band they've ever seen. The dance floor was packed all night with guests of all ages. My husband and I literally missed eating dessert because we were going too hard on the dance floor. Every single song that came on we would freak out with joy and excitement, singing along. The band involved us in the festivities by coming onto the dancefloor and having my husband and I sing into the microphone, the horns players came down and played right next to me, the main singer had me start a conga line, and then they called us up to boogie onstage with whoever else wanted to come for the last song. Oh and they do an excellent horah! They made us feel so special and listened to our requests in terms of must play and do not play. Every single band member is beyond talented and we want to be friends with them all. WORTH EVERY PENNY! OBSESSED! INCREDIBLE! :)

We worked with Hap, Ben, and the Cafe Wha house band for our wedding. When we were looking around for bands, it's always tough to know what you are going to get by looking at videos, but with Cafe Wha, if you've ever been to the club, you get a taste of what the band can do. We had meetings leading up to the wedding to discuss our music tastes. Music is extremely important to us and we wanted people dancing all night long, and that's exactly what we got. We cannot recommend the Cafe Wha house band enough.

The Knockouts were absolutely fantastic and truly made our wedding night unforgettable! It’s been two weeks since the big day, and we’re still hearing from friends and family raving about how incredible the band was.

Leading up to our wedding, we had the best time going to The Groove to see the band perform. We also loved seeing Kyle Lacy, the bandleader, play in Astoria (where we live). Now even our friends are planning trips to The Groove because they can’t wait to see band live again!

From the planning process to the wedding itself, the entire band was a dream to work with. They were so responsive and genuinely made the experience about us. They helped us shape the timeline, offered great advice, and made everything run so smoothly.

And the music at the wedding was incredible. The dance floor was packed all night — even our flower girl said, “This is the best dance party ever!” We couldn’t have imagined a better band or a better night.

Cafe Wha was the absolute best. From when we first reached out until the day of, they were super responsive and easy to work with. They even provided us with some additional vendors (i.e., lighting). Most importantly, though, this group of fabulously talented musicians played amazing music and ensured that our dancefloor was PACKED the entire night. They really know how to appeal to the crowd, If you have the chance to go listen to them in NYC, I'd highly recommend it just for a fun night out, but they bring the same energy to the weddings they do. Cannot praise them highly enough.

Café Wha played our daughter’s wedding and WOW! They made the party!! The dance floor was packed all night, and the energy was palpable. Our guests could not stop talking about the music! They played songs from different eras and different genres, each to perfection. and every song had the crowd – no matter the age – fully engaged. We wish it could have gone on forever. The icing on the cake is that they were great to work with in all aspects of the planning. It was a fantastic experience!

We hired The Knockouts from Cafe Wha for our Wedding this past weekend. They were absolutely incredible. Kyle is the band leader and he had multiple planning meetings with us to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Our First Dance and Father/Daughter & Mother/Son songs were absolutely perfect. We have received dozens of compliments from our guests regarding the music. I would hire them again in an instant if given the opportunity. Professional production quality show that you would expect from a headline touring Band. Hire them!

The SHINE Band was a huge reason why our wedding day was such a success. Every single person we talked to after the wedding mentioned how amazing the band was. We had a blast and were on the dance floor the whole time. They were very accommodating and helped provide the sound for a special performance for my Wife. They were excellent communicators and were able to take our music tastes and come up with a setlist that enabled every age group to have a blast! The band came into the crowd and interacted with everyone, which brought the party to a whole new level! Book this band for your big day!

We had the BONAFIDE CREW from Café Wha? play at our engagement party a few weeks ago, and they were amazing. It was all pretty last-minute, but you would’ve never known—everything came together perfectly. Hap, who helped coordinate everything, made the whole process super easy and stress-free.

Ernie, the band leader, is insanely talented and brought so much energy to the night. Kelsey, the other lead singer, had a beautiful voice and was spectacular as well. The whole band was amazing, fun, and had everyone on the dance floor the entire time.

They couldn’t have made it a better night! We’re still getting compliments from guests about how great the band was. We recommend them tremendously.

Cafe Wha absolutely made our wedding. From the first note to the last song of the night, the energy, talent, and charisma they brought to the stage had every single guest on the dance floor. Their setlist was incredible—spanning decades and genres seamlessly—and they knew exactly how to read the crowd.
