They had never played at our venue before, but were super flexible in working with us to tour the space and prepare appropriately for the wedding. NY Jukebox really nailed the perfect playlist for us and all our guests. Our entire guest list raved about how good the band was and the dance floor was full and energetic the whole night. They truly sounded better than any live band (professional, wedding, etc) I've ever heard. We are so happy we chose NY Jukebox.

Details: Wedding was in the indoor main hall of the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn. We ended up having the full band option w/ 6 musicians (drums, guitar, bass, piano, two horns) and two singers. We highly recommend this choice. Each musician brought their A-game and every song they played sounded vibrant and full. Nothing they played sounded like just a cover.

HIRE THEM! The single best decision we made for our wedding was booking NY Jukebox. They kept the party going in a very tricky room set-up and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day -- going out of their way to make trips to the venue, monitor sound levels, and even learning extra (admittedly cheesy) 90s pop music -- better than the originals. Not only are they crazy-talented, every member of the band was incredibly kind. They were super-easy to work with throughout the entire process and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Do not look any further and book NY Jukebox now.

I would recommend NY Jukebox to anyone getting married. They took the time before our wedding to confirm what we wanted; they even customized our first dance song! NY Jukebox was fantastic at our wedding last month. From start to finish, Pam was great to work with. It was easy to pick songs from their set list and they even learned three new songs of our choice. The ceremony songs were flawless, the saxophone/guitar duo for the cocktail hour was perfect for the venue/vibe and the hybrid ensemble (2 singers, guitar, sax, DJ) was better than we could have imagined. Our dance floor was packed the whole night! We got married at The River Cafe in downtown Brooklyn which is a smaller venue with strict requirements for band size, song volume etc. NY Jukebox did a great job accommodating all of the requirements and at the same time put on a stellar show. We would definitely recommend NY Jukebox for any party, wedding or otherwise.

5 stars and beyond!!! NY Jukebox were the highlight of our wedding. First, we called NY Jukebox over a year out from our wedding and Pam was so incredibly helpful and thorough from the start. We had several calls together over a year that helped us plan the perfect music plan for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Most wedding bands are corny as hell. This band is not! They set the perfect tone for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then rocked the hell out of our reception. All of the band members are supremely talented and left our guests amazed, and then tired from all the dancing. Book this band and you won't regret it

NY Jukebox is the best! From the very start, Vinny was so helpful, responsive, and an absolute joy to work with. We booked the 5-piece hybrid band. They were incredible and had amazing energy throughout the entire wedding – from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception and after-party. Everyone was on the dance floor all night and couldn’t stop raving about the band/music! Thank you NYJ!

Amazing band!! Such a pleasure to watch perform. They NAILED it. Everyone at my wedding was up and dancing while NY Jukebox was playing. They were extremely professional and responsive whenever I had a question. I would highly recommend this awesome band!

Just have to say from the start that our day would definitely not have been nearly as much fun without NY Jukebox. They made the day feel like such an amazing, fun, and high-end event with the most talented and professional musicians and singers I've ever seen at a wedding. If this review sounds really over the top it's because they are really that good and I think worth every penny. From the beginning of wedding planning I was dreading finding the right entertainment. For some reason that just seemed really daunting. We planned a medium size wedding with about 70-75 guests. I didn't feel like hiring only a DJ was right for us to get a good energy level in the room with a smaller group, but I was nervous about finding a band with the right sound too.

From the first conversation, Vinny was SO responsive and excited about our wedding. Vinny invited us to go see them play live at a local bar in NYC and it was SO MUCH FUN. I got to meet Vinny and Pam and they're just the absolute nicest people and that's really what I wanted to surround myself with working on our wedding. Also the sound and vibes in the crowd was even more amazing then on video. So we chose NY Jukebox for our wedding and I'm soooo happy we did! The process was so smooth working together from start to finish. Even during the stressful times of planning, when I'd talk to Vinny he'd remind me what a fun day it was going to be and that they were so excited and it always made me feel a little better and remember it was going to be a really special day! I really can't say enough about how nice it is to have a vendor who you feel cares as much about your day as you do.

We asked them to perform both at our cocktail hour and reception. For the cocktail hour they did guitar and saxophone playing jazz and bossa nova which created a really nice chill but upscale environment for people to hang out and chat with each other. For the reception we had the DJ, saxophone, guitar, and two vocalists. Again, it was just so. much. fun. The sound of all the musicians and DJ is just so good, energetic, and exciting. Their song list has a wide variety and caters to everybody. All generations will feel included. They clearly know how to get the volume right for the space (ours was a small ish venue), it was never so loud that people couldn't still talk and catch up with each other at their tables but just loud enough to have people get excited to dance.

Even though we have some more reserved family members, I still noticed them up and dancing. Our friends were literally up and dancing until the very last song when the reception ended, we had such an amazing night. I will recommend NY Jukebox to anyone! In fact many of our guests have already asked about them for people they know who are wedding planning. Thank you guys for everything!!

I never leave reviews, but had to with these guys. Ny Jukebox was by far the best vendor at our wedding! Very professional and responsive, and all of the musicians were killers. Nobody left the dance floor and they were amazing at reading the room for the right song choice. Hire them.

NY Jukebox is beyond amazing!!! We were dancing all night long! NY Jukebox had such amazing and fun energy the whole entire night, no one wanted to leave the dance floor. Everyone had so much fun! So many of our guest came up to us the days after telling us how much they loved the band.
On top of killing it on the wedding night, NY Jukebox was one of the best vendors to work with leading up to our wedding. Vinny and Pam are very easy to work with, and it was stress free working with them. They gave great recommendations for songs, and really understood what we were looking for when it came to music selection and flow of the night. They do what they can on their end not to flood you with questions and stress you out. You can really tell how hard they work to give bride and groom the best night. We were so happy with them!
