They were communicative from the time I hired them, they had a huge setlist to pick from, and they really read the vibe of the room. They even let me sing with them for a few songs!! Every wedding guest said that they were the absolute best!

If you’re looking to book a live band I suggest considering No Standards. Not only are they a very talented group, they are professional, easy to work with and great entertainers. They perform during the ceremony and cocktail hour as a string triplet, played full live sets and DJ’ed during breaks. They executed special planned requests from us and requests from guests during the party. Can’t say it enough times, they really are the best.

This band is so awesome. In every way. They performed our first dance song and made it a slowed-down version of the actual song and it was PERFECT. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the music was. They are also fantastic with communication and were so patient with us as we worked through the music choices for our big day. They made our wedding night an absolute blast and I am so happy we hired them.

The most amazing wedding band! So talented and nice, everyone loved them and still talks about the band! The band was so much fun and they even loved when our priest got up and rapped while they played! 100% recommend not only for events but also to go see them play all over NY and NJ!

No standards was our dream wedding band. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish and helped us customize the perfect wedding playlist for us. They even learned a few songs for us to make it even more special! What a dream to get to walk down the aisle (for me!) to Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional on the violin, cello and guitar-- beautiful. And they even learned a super niche Say Anything song (I want to know your plans) which was our first dance song. We had so many people tell us after the wedding how much they enjoyed the band and that it "made the wedding" which we couldn't agree more. They did essentially an hour of "Emo night" to end the wedding and it got all our friends on the dance floor belting out each song together which was also our dream ;), after they'd played some more typical wedding songs to satisfy our non-emo fan guests earlier in the night. But truly, they will create whatever experience you want. And if you are especially looking for the "not your typical wedding band" or your dreams as they advertise themselves, they are that band. And also wonderful humans. Thank you No Standards! We wish we could get married again so we could have you play again too!

Can't say enough great things about Steve and the entire No Standards crew. They were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, catered to our needs re: vibes, playlists/songs, run-of-show, etc., and put on a tremendous concert that had everybody on their feet the entire night. They made our special day even more special, and now our family and friends are booking them for birthday parties and other events. 10/10!

No Standards is the wedding band you need to book if you want your big day to be unforgettable! From start to finish, their professionalism, communication, quality of services, and overall value were absolutely top-notch.

This band holds a special place in our hearts—I took my wife to see them many years before our wedding on one of our first dates. We both said, “If we ever get married, we want them to play at our wedding.” Many moons later, we made it happen, and we loved every single minute of it!

They went above and beyond to make sure every detail we envisioned was included—and then some! They didn’t just meet expectations; they blew them out of the water. From learning two incredible songs just for the wedding (which they nailed), to letting my dad chant "Scotty Doesn’t Know" and then jumping right into it—it was amazing.

The energy they brought to the reception was unmatched. They ended the night with "Killing in the Name" (as I had requested, despite it being unconventional for a wedding), and people are still raving about the show they put on.

Even during quieter moments, like the cocktail hour and dinner, the background music they provided was beyond perfect—it captured everything I had asked for and still managed to surprise me in the best way. And when my best man included a bit of "On the Way Down" by Ryan Cabrera in his speech, they seamlessly played the song afterward—it was such a thoughtful touch that added so much to the moment.

Hopefully, when we catch them live in the future, they’ll surprise us with our wedding song (Scene One – James Dean & Aubrey Hepburn by Sleeping with Sirens). That would be the cherry on top of an already unforgettable experience.
