From the very first note at cocktail hour to the last song of the night, they were absolutely phenomenal. The pianist during cocktail hour created the perfect atmosphere, elegant, inviting, and the ideal way to begin our celebration.

Once the reception started, they completely exceeded every expectation. Their talent, energy, and professionalism were incredible. You could tell they poured their hearts into every performance, and it showed. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Guests of every age were dancing, singing along, and having the time of their lives.

Cause and The Effects were such a wonderful group of performers to work with! Their willingness and skill in working in special requests for our ceremony was truly amazing. Throughout our event they delivered with amazing showman-ship and a thoughtful set list, so many people came up to me at so many different times to say "How did they know that song?", "I can't believe they're playing this!", and of course, afterwards saying so many of the songs they played are in a new light for them from the experience. I cannot recommend this group enough, they truly helped so much in making our wedding the best night of our lives.

We could not have asked for a better wedding band! From the first time we spoke to Vin and Anthony, they were responsive, transparent about their prices, easy to work with, and really took the time to understand our vision for the wedding. They even learned a ton of new songs for us, which made the night feel so personal and special (especially because most other bands we interviewed would only learn 1-2). The week before the wedding Vin and I went over every timing detail for the reception including how to introduce us, our siblings giving speeches, and when we wanted to break up the dancing for dinner and other traditions.

On the wedding day, they absolutely exceeded every expectation! We got married in Bergen County, NJ and all 11 band members were there on time and ready to play. The dance floor was packed all night long and guests of all ages kept coming up to us to rave about how incredible the band was. Their energy, talent, and ability to read the room kept the party going from start to finish. My husband and I even got up to join them for a song!

One of the most special moments of the night was our custom first dance. They worked with us to make it completely personalized, and it felt incredibly meaningful and unique. On top of that, they created a fully customized set list that perfectly matched our style and the vibe of the room. Every song landed, and the energy just kept building throughout the night.

Their crowd work was outstanding. They engaged the audience effortlessly and kept the dance floor packed all night long. Even during moments when we, as the bride and groom, were pulled away for photos or greetings, the band kept everyone entertained and energized. At the same time, they always prioritized us. They checked in, made sure we were having the best time, and included us in really thoughtful ways. One of our favorite moments was when they handed us the guitar for an amazing photo—such a fun, unexpected touch that resulted in one of our favorite pictures from the entire wedding.

And of course, the music itself was fantastic. Every member of the band is incredibly talented, and it shows. The sound was polished, dynamic, and fun, and they knew exactly how to read the room. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night—and even days later—to tell us how amazing the band was and how much they loved the music.

We originally saw Cause and The Effects at our friend's wedding. We had just got engaged a month prior, so we had started our search for wedding vendors, etc. After seeing them perform, we literally didn't even consider anyone else. We sent an email 3 days later and booked them for our wedding the following year. Leading up to our big day we were able to have multiple conversations with Vin to put together all of the songs to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of. We had the absolute time of our lives. If you are even considering a band for your special day, you will not be disappointed. They brought an energy that is next level entertainment versus a dj that can just click play on a song. We couldn't speak more highly of them and wish we could relive the night over and over!
