Best wedding band ever!
Hiring Cause and the Effects was the best decision we made for our wedding. They brought such fun energy all night. They were willing to learn songs for us and play them amazingly!! We received so many compliments from our guests and everyone loved the music all night long! Vibes immaculate and so easy to work/plan with. Insanely friendly, welcoming, and honestly can’t recommend them enough!!! They made our special day so so so memorable! -

We could not have asked for a better wedding band! From the first time we spoke to Vin and Anthony, they were responsive, transparent about their prices, easy to work with, and really took the time to understand our vision for the wedding. They even learned a ton of new songs for us, which made the night feel so personal and special (especially because most other bands we interviewed would only learn 1-2). The week before the wedding Vin and I went over every timing detail for the reception including how to introduce us, our siblings giving speeches, and when we wanted to break up the dancing for dinner and other traditions.
On the wedding day, they absolutely exceeded every expectation! We got married in Bergen County, NJ and all 11 band members were there on time and ready to play. The dance floor was packed all night long and guests of all ages kept coming up to us to rave about how incredible the band was. Their energy, talent, and ability to read the room kept the party going from start to finish. My husband and I even got up to join them for a song!
If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, and professional band that knows exactly how to keep a wedding going, look no further. We truly cannot recommend them enough! -

From start to finish, working with The Cause and Effects was an incredible experience. Their communication leading up to the wedding was seamless—not only with us, but also with our other vendors—which made the entire day run smoothly and stress-free. It was clear right away that they are true professionals who care deeply about delivering an amazing experience.
One of the most special moments of the night was our custom first dance. They worked with us to make it completely personalized, and it felt incredibly meaningful and unique. On top of that, they created a fully customized set list that perfectly matched our style and the vibe of the room. Every song landed, and the energy just kept building throughout the night.
Their crowd work was outstanding. They engaged the audience effortlessly and kept the dance floor packed all night long. Even during moments when we, as the bride and groom, were pulled away for photos or greetings, the band kept everyone entertained and energized. We never once worried about the momentum of the party—they had it completely under control.
At the same time, they always prioritized us. They checked in, made sure we were having the best time, and included us in really thoughtful ways. One of our favorite moments was when they handed us the guitar for an amazing photo—such a fun, unexpected touch that resulted in one of our favorite pictures from the entire wedding.
And of course, the music itself was fantastic. Every member of the band is incredibly talented, and it shows. The sound was polished, dynamic, and fun, and they knew exactly how to read the room. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night—and even days later—to tell us how amazing the band was and how much they loved the music.
Overall, The Cause and Effects delivered an all-around incredible experience. Amazing music, incredible energy, thoughtful personalization, top-tier professionalism, and nonstop fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better band, and we would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking to elevate their wedding or event. They truly exceeded every expectation. -

We originally saw Cause and The Effects at our friend's wedding. We had just got engaged a month prior, so we had started our search for wedding vendors, etc. After seeing them perform, we literally didn't even consider anyone else. We sent an email 3 days later and booked them for our wedding the following year. Leading up to our big day we were able to have multiple conversations with Vin to put together all of the songs to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of. We had the absolute time of our lives. If you are even considering a band for your special day, you will not be disappointed. They brought an energy that is next level entertainment versus a dj that can just click play on a song. We couldn't speak more highly of them and wish we could relive the night over and over! -

From the very beginning, Vin and Ant were so easy to work with and great with communication. We even got to FaceTime with Vin before the wedding to discuss set lists, which made us even more excited for the big day.
Our vision was for the night to feel like everyone was at a concert — full of energy, dancing, and great music — and they completely nailed it. The dance floor was packed the entire night! They played our ceremony music beautifully and let us customize our cocktail hour playlist and must-plays for the reception so everything reflected our personalities and music tastes perfectly. They surprised us with some Blink and the dancefloor absolutely erupted! We have a family tradition at weddings for Paradise by the Dashboard Light and the band was on board playing the full song and handing the mics over to us. So fun!
They were also incredibly flexible and accommodating, especially when wedding planning wasn’t the easiest. I can't stress enough that not only are they professionals but they're kind, thoughtful people that just want you to have the best wedding possible. They're a band that loves what they do and it's evident in their work and hospitality.
If you’re looking for a band that brings amazing energy, keeps everyone dancing, and makes your wedding feel totally you, Cause and the Effects is the one! We can't wait to go to local events and watch them play over and over again. Sorry, fellas, you have two newlyweds that are lifelong fans now! -

Best band ever! Do not hesitate to book!
We cannot say enough amazing things about Cause and The Effects! Everyone in the band is extremely talented and they were truly the highlight of the wedding! They kept the energy in the room so high throughout the whole night! The set list was perfect and everyone was on the dance floor all night long. They learned songs we requested for our first dance and mother/daughter dance and played them perfectly. So many friends and family have told us after how much they loved the band- they truly made the night amazing for everyone!
They are also incredibly easy to work with, so passionate about what they do, and made the entire process fun! Hiring Cause and The Effects will be the best wedding decision you make!

Absolutely Incredible! Cause and the Effects Made Our Wedding Night Perfect!
We cannot recommend Cause and the Effects enough! They absolutely blew us away at our wedding on 03/22/2025 and were a huge part of what made it the best night of our lives.
From the very beginning, Vin was professional, communicative, and genuinely enthusiastic about making our wedding music perfect. Communication leading up to the wedding was great, involving numerous emails, helpful calls, and detailed Zoom meetings to ensure every musical detail was perfect. The band has an incredible repertoire of songs, but what truly impressed us was their willingness to go above and beyond. They happily learned multiple new songs that we requested, ensuring that our favorite songs were part of the celebration.
The real testament to their dedication and talent came with a last-minute song request! Even with just a weeks notice, Cause and the Effects learned and performed the song flawlessly. It was such a special moment for us and our guests absolutely loved it.
Cause and the Effects had the dance floor packed from start to finish! They truly understood the atmosphere we wanted to create, and they exceeded all of our expectations. Our guests of all ages raved about their energy, their musicianship, and the selection of music they played. They seamlessly transitioned between genres and kept the vibe lively and fun.

We can’t thank Cause and the Effects enough for the incredible entertainment at our wedding! The very first thing my husband and I said when planning our wedding is that we wanted a band. We didn’t want the photo booths, old naked man playing the drums or violinist on stilts like we’ve seen at so many other weddings. We wanted to invest in something fun, different and exciting and more importantly something that represented us. Booking Cause and the Effects was the best decision ever. The band gives it their all and they were so present in the moment. Our dance floor was flooded with guests of all ages. We sang our hearts out. Our first dance song, and songs with our parents were executed perfectly and really touched us ❤️ Every time we talk about our wedding with our friends and family they all never fail to mention how great the band was! In fact my family wants an excuse to throw another party to have the band play and join us again. Booking the band was absolutely priceless and the energy was truly electric.
It’s been smooth sailing communicating with Anthony and Vin over the past year. From our first FaceTime call, to meeting them at a coffee shop, watching them all perform at a summer concert, to finally crushing it at our wedding. Thank you for being our friends from the start and making things so easy.
It’s already been 4 months later and we are so sad that it is over but we look forward to hearing Cause and the Effects play at event spaces near us and we know that we convinced other family and friends to book for their weddings as well 😊 -

BOOK. THIS. BAND. We’ve seen them a few times in bars around our area and we KNEW they had to play at our wedding. We legit picked our wedding date around their availability. I can’t say enough kind words about Vin, Anthony, and the rest of the band. They truly care about your day and want it to be a perfect party. They learned our first dance song just for us, helped us pick a vibe for the type of music to play, and gave timing recommendations throughout the whole night. Vin went out of his way in every form. They played our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They even went over at the end to play my favorite song. We had newly engaged friends text us after because they want to hire them for their wedding!! They’re a genuine group of people that we plan to keep seeing playing and keep in contact with (I think we may be groupies now). Best wedding band ever
THE CAUSE AND THE EFFECTS is by far the best wedding band in the business! 10/10 this band is MUST BOOK FOR YOUR WEDDING!! My guests still cannot stop talking about how amazing they are. From booking to last song this band really makes you feel like family. Wedding planning is stressful enough and music is such a huge part of the reception. Vin had such great input on what works and what doesn’t work. They really know what the people want to hear! He made picking songs so easy. They’ll learn whatever song you want! We opted for the 10 piece band and it was SO WORTH IT!!! The horn section elevated every song! The setlist covered all the decades of music so all my guests, young and old, got what they wanted! Nicole and Anthony have such beautiful voices! The way the guitarists, drummer, and horn section interacted with my guests on the dance floor was AMAZING! This group really found their calling. I can’t recommend them enough! They made my entire wedding a night no one will ever forget! -

Best wedding band ever
The Cause and the Effects are the BEST band to have play at your wedding. Me and my husband have seen them many times at the bars and of course we had to book them for our wedding in April ! They were amazing !! The dance floor was packed the entire night ! I still have people tell me how awesome they were ! They are great with the crowd and know exactly how to keep the party going on the dance floor ! The band was beyond supportive and open to learning new songs that were meaningful to us, even if they weren't in their extensive repertoire. I have been married for over a week and I am still receiving text messages asking who my wedding band was because my guests can’t get over what a good time they had. My heart glows! My friends and family are also asking us how they can see the Cause and Effect again so we will need to hire them again for a big birthday or celebration, see them at a show case or attend your wedding when you book them! Lol. If you are on the fence about a wedding band then you are on the fence if you want to have a great party or just a gathering. We wanted a PARTY. Hiring a band makes all the difference and hiring an amazing band creates memories with your friends and family that you’ll never forget. I am grateful for how professional Vin (the band’s pianist) is and how patient he was with working through our music choices. I had spoken to other bands and I felt like the personal touch wasn’t there. When I spoke to Vin not only was the experience so personal and hands on but he also had such amazing suggestions that helped me improve my timeline and logistics that I knew that Cause and Effect was going to be great. Each band member is talented in their own regard that it’s really funny to listen to our family debate their favorite member. I’m so happy that our guests understood that we went above and beyond to find an amazing band like Cause and Effect to make the night so special for them as they came out to celebrate us when the dance floor went wild! The best part was when guests were grabbing me to chat, the band made sure I didn’t miss any songs on the dance floor. That’s exactly what I wanted. Once you’re a bride, you will understand how important this detail is. They were there to make sure me and my husband had an amazing time and we did! Our guests have been to countless weddings and everyone has agreed this band is hands down the best. P.S. Also, we had Vin play at our ceremony and cocktail hour and played songs we requested that would bring tears to your eyes. DO IT. -

If you’re considering a live band for your wedding reception, look no further than Cause and the Effects. We hired the full 10-piece band to play at our wedding reception on 9/23/23, and that was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made.
From our initial calls all the way through the actual event, the band set themselves apart and proved to be far more than a standard event vendor. They were completely invested in giving us the best experience possible. Vin and Anthony took the time to get to know us, our interests, and how we wanted the event to flow, and used all of that information to put together an amazing set. Our reception had a few unique twists, and the band took each of our requests in stride with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Leading up to our reception, Vin communicated with some of our other vendors to make sure any intersecting elements (for example, audio/video and lighting) went smoothly. And day-of, the full band’s talent and energy blew us away. Once the party started, it did not stop for a single second. We, the majority of our guests–and eventually, some of the band members & instruments themselves!--were going wild on the dance floor the entire night. Even the non-dancers in the crowd were sitting and enjoying the music with huge smiles on their faces. Throughout the event, many people pulled us aside so they could tell us how much they were loving the music…and in speaking to guests afterward, the first thing every single person mentioned was how incredible the band was.
And talk about a personal playlist–not only did they create a completely unique rendition of our first dance song (Starlight by Muse) to match our dance choreography, but they also delivered a huge surprise. In our consultations, we’d mentioned how important the band Linkin Park is to us…so Cause and the Effects learned “In the End” just for us, and delivered a phenomenal performance as one of the closing songs of the night. It was so meaningful, and it’s something we’ll never forget.
Please don’t hesitate to make Cause and the Effects one of the first vendors you book for your event. "Five stars" is not a high enough rating! -

Before my fiancé even proposed, he ALWAYS knew he wanted Cause and the Effects to play at our wedding, it was his only must have! So when we booked our wedding, we immediately reached out to secure our date and it was the BEST decision we made while planning our wedding. Vin was so easy to work with leading up to our big day and every single member of the band did an incredible job! They are all so talented!!! The band helped me surprise my groom with a special song as I walked down the aisle which was so meaningful. After the beautiful music provided for our ceremony and cocktail hour, we said we wanted a party for the reception and WOW did they deliver! Our guests were dancing with us all night and they even had my husband play a couple songs with them behind the drums which was GREAT!
Our wedding was over a month ago and we still get complements on how amazing our band was!!! This band made our wedding and gave us such incredible memories that will last a lifetime.

This was our second event with The Cause and The Effects! My graduation party in 2016 was our first so it was no question we would hire them for our wedding in 2023! Both times they were the highlight of the event and are not only the best sounding band around but extremely friendly, engaging, and entertaining!! They have an amazing ability to entertain the crowd with their music and add so much fun and adventure to the atmosphere! From the classical piano work at the cocktail hour to the perfect dance music at the reception they not only fit the vibe of our wedding but created the vibe we were looking for! The Best Wedding Band Ever
It is nearly impossible to fully describe how perfect Cause and the Effects were for our wedding on 5/28/23, but I’m going to do my best. We booked the band knowing they would be great, but what blew us away was the care and attention they wanted to personally bring to our wedding. When we had our first conversation with Vin and Anthony about what we wanted the day to look like, I mentioned I am a huge Springsteen fan and my wife is a huge Taylor Swift fan and we would want that integrated into the music. They asked if I played guitar (I do) and invited me to play with them a little Taylor and Bruce set to kick off the reception. Vin and the band arranged an E STREET BAND version of Taylor’s Love Story and allowed me to plug in and sing for my wife and immediately jump into Born to Run! It was a magical moment that my wife and I will have for the rest of our lives, and it wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for the kindness and generosity of Cause and the Effects. This doesn’t even mention how involved my Dad in the set, built a rock solid set list that had the entire room jamming along and played our ceremony and cocktail hour. The night ended and nearly the entire wedding told us this was the best wedding band they had ever seen and the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding. They are phenomenal musicians and even kinder people. There is no other band than Cause and the Effects who will give you the wedding of your dreams. Thank you Cause and the Effects! I don’t even know how to put into words how amazing our wedding was thanks to the cause and the effects!! It was the best night of our lives, they dance floor was packed and wild all night! Everyone left the wedding sweating and saying how amazing the band was. We are still getting messages a month later from family and friends talking about how much fun they had, and how they didnt eat all night becuase they never wanted to leave the dance floor. We told Vinny our vision for our first dance, we wanted the song to be played and have the band join in towards the end of the song……they exceeded our expections.
We loved how interactive you are, and how you kept everyone partying all night! We love you guys so so much❤️

We got married on 12/10/22 at Normandy Farm, and Cause and the Effects exceeded all expectations both of us had about our wedding band. During the planning process, Vin was a pleasure to work with, and they were flexible and able to meet all requests and needs. The night of the party they were so energetic for the entire night, keeping the party going, and making sure all of our guests had a great time at our wedding. For a long time our friends and family were skeptical about having a band instead of a DJ as our entertainment, and every one of them came up to me and my new wife praising the band and amazed at just how much fun they had. Some of them have even decided to hire a band for their own wedding, this band was that great. If you hire Cause and the Effects, we promise you will have the night of your life. -

Cause and the Effects was truly a pleasure to work with! They are professional and SO incredibly talented. I hired a subset of their band to perform during my cocktail hour and received so many compliments. They engaged the crowd when appropriate and even let my 5 year old niece come up and sing with them. I received so many compliments on their song selections and I couldn't have imagined my wedding day without them! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better night. Cause and The Effects did all of our music from ceremony to party (with 2 encores) and made each part an unbelievable experience. They even learned a few new songs for us on our request, and it sounded perfect. Our wedding song was unforgettable. Every single guest commented on how amazing our band was, and the dance floor was packed all night long. We highly recommend Cause and The Effects to all our friends and family! -

No One Left the Dance Floor
If your looking for a band that brings everyone to the dance floor and keeps them in the dance floor the Cause and The Effects are the band to hire for your wedding. My photographer even said she has never seen so many people at a wedding dance so much and have so much fun! This band made our wedding exactly how we wanted it fun and exciting. They took care of all the music: ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. Vinny and his team are amazing to work with. Super attentive and answers all questions. The band even learned a few songs just for us. I call that special service. Couldn’t recommend enough. I hope I am lucky to go to another wedding where they are the band. -

AMAZING! Best wedding decision made
I can't say enough about Cause and the Effects and the energy and joy they brought to our big day. First, their communication leading up to the wedding day was excellent and they were willing to take the time to learn all of our special songs, and customized our day based on different music genres we wanted. We booked them 2 years out from our wedding and Vin from day one got back to us with any questions or concerns right away. Now to the day of - our wedding guests are still raving about the music and the energy that they brought and we genuinely had so much fun with them! From passing of instruments, to the band playing and interacting with guests on the dance floor, we honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. We can't wait to go find them playing at local places and even hope (pray) that we are invited to another wedding they are playing at because they are just that good - they are also even better people! Thank you for making our day all that we dreamed of! -

Absolutely Amazing
This band will rock the house and get your family and friends on the dance floor! We got married on 10/17/21 and had an absolute blast! They learned our first dance song and played it so beautifully! Not only is this band incredibly talented, but they are the nicest people around! They also let the groom’s brother play a few songs on the drums since he’s a drummer and it will always be a fun and special memory! Vincent was so amazing the whole process. They did multiple zoom calls with us to go over everything and tailor the night to be how we wanted. Everything was amazing and people were on the dance floor all night long. I mean they did not stop playing… and they did it so well. All special requests were played and what energy they had. It was so special and worth every penny. I highly recommend going for the 10 piece band set! We absolutely loved Cause and The Effects! Throughout the entire planning process they were very responsive and answered all our questions. During the wedding they were a hit! Numerous guests commented how great they were. They had everyone up on the dance, came out on the dance floor and kept up the energy all the way until the last song of the night. Would highly recommend to friends or family. 10/10! -

The Absolute Best - Bar None
We had a wedding on August 20, 2021, with Cause and the Effects as our wedding band. The wedding was beautiful, great pictures/video, people loved the photobooth, etc. But all anyone talked about, as the wedding ended, and the days afterwards, was our unbelievable wedding band. It was the story of our wedding. If you haven't seen these guys in action, just scroll through their Instagram account and take a peek at what they provide in terms of entertainment. They don't just play music, it is an experience. Members of the band come out on the dancefloor. People are up onstage with them. These guys don't just play music for your reception, they are there to make it the most memorable wedding you've ever attended. I've lost count of the amount of people who've inquired about Cause and the Effects since our wedding, and the amount of compliments we/they got.
In terms of working with them, I dealt with Vin and Anthony to talk ceremony, dance, parents songs. Easiest experience throughout the entire planning process. I was able to even select certain songs we wanted for the reception, that they threw into their setlist. Incredibly easy to work with, always responsive, and an absolute steal in terms of price when I think about these other boring weddings bands I've seen.
If you are looking for a wedding that will not be forgotten, this is the wedding band you want. There is no one like them out there. I've seen other acts try to be fun, and it's overly-done. This band is as natural as they come, interacting with the dancefloor the entire night and keeping everything fun all the way through.

Cause and the Effects played at our wedding last month and they were fantastic!! They were so easy to work with during the planning process, and mastered the special songs we requested for our first dance and father/daughter and mother/son. They really read the room and had everyone on the dance floor from our college friends to our grandparents. We opted for the 10 piece band and it was totally worth it. Our guests keep telling us how much fun they had dancing and weeks later I'm still humming SHOUT with a smile, thinking of the incredible time we had on the dance floor with our family and friends. I can’t say enough good things about this band . From day one they worked with us ( we didn’t want many traditional details at our wedding ) . They went above and beyond learning all the songs we wanted. Our musical tastes probably aren’t the normal songs you would hear at a traditional wedding . Our dance floor was packed the entire 4 hours . The band interacted with our us and our guests. They let us and our guests be part of the performance offering up instruments and mics to whoever wanted . I could go on and on about how amazing they were. Our guests can not stop talking about our band . They have gained fans for life ! -

First of all, these guys are SO TALENTED. They've got a wide library of the songs that every generation wants to dance to, and their energy is contagious throughout the night. The band learned special songs for our meaningful moments throughout the night (first dance, processional, etc.) and really went above and beyond to create a set list that made a ton of sense with our wedding venue and theme. Beyond being such a talented group of musicians, they're also the nicest and most professional. They were on top of the planning process, got to our wedding extra early for set up and rehearsal, and really made sure our wedding felt like "us." Our guests have been constantly telling us that Cause and the Effects were the highlight of the wedding, so much so that guests asked for their information to book the band at their future events! My biggest piece of advice is to hire this band if you want everyone on the dance floor for your entire wedding - Cause and the Effects will make it happen! -
