The Absolute BEST!
Scott, Albert, and their videographer Ross were incredible! They perfectly captured our wedding day at Folktale Winery and were such a pleasure to work with. We also did a beach shoot for our engagement shoot and Scott made it a lot of fun! Would absolutely recommend them!

Scott Campbell is the best photographer that I have ever worked with. When my husband went to first meet him, we loved his work and the way he likes to get to know us as a couple. He is very patient and knows how to work with his clients with the poses, best spots to take pictures. We had our engagement pictures done with him and our wedding. Every single one of our engagement pictures turned out amazing and we had them completed for us to review in less than a week that surprised us. I can't wait to see our wedding pictures.
When we left Scott Campbell's studio the first time we met him, my husband told me, "you know we can't afford him", I replied, we still have a few more photographers to meet with, deep down inside I wanted to hire Scott. After meeting with a male friend of ours, he not knowing we got engaged as he was getting married, one thing he mentioned, he didn't make one comment on the cost of the photographer as these are pictures you can only take that one day. This is when I got the green light to book him. This is one of the best investments you can every make especially on our wedding day.

Scott shot our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and did an amazing job with both. My husband and I live in a different state, and Scott was able to fit us in on the Friday before Christmas. Since we weren't able to meet him before the day of the shoot, we started off in his studio on Cannery Row and he showed us some of his previous work, which is amazing. He is seriously talented. He and another photographer, Albert, took us around to a few locations in Monterey and Carmel, and the shoot took about two hours. They were both so professional, and made us feel very at ease. Scott focuses more on natural interaction shots instead of poses, but he did give us a lot of direction which was nice. We got our photos back in about a week, and we were so impressed! It was hard to pick which one would go on our "Save the Date" card. When we sent them out, everyone raved about the photo. We also bought a few large prints from Scott to give our parents as gifts. The quality of the print is outstanding. They loved them.
For the wedding, Scott and Albert arrived ~2 hours before the wedding to take the portraits and the prep photos. He was able to navigate around a very large bridal party and some sticky family situations with no problems. Scott and Albert captured the ceremony without the groom or I even noticing they were there. For the reception, Scott even helped us figure out the cake cutting and garter toss when we couldn't find our wedding planner. He went above and beyond what a typical photographer would do.
We received our photos while we were on our honeymoon - the fastest turnaround I've ever heard of! They are beautiful, beautiful photos that are magazine-worthy. Scott's team also put together a slideshow and an app for our photos, which are great for when co-workers and others ask to see the wedding photos and you don't want to show all ~900 :) We can't wait to visit him around the holidays to build our album!
