With so much planning and vision going into our special day, we hoped to find a photographer that could capture every detail and meaningful moment with excellence and vision while keeping things light and fun. We found these qualities and more in Shannon. She was so easy to work with, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the planning process and during the ceremony. She even gave me her Birkenstock’s to wear while I navigated rugged terrain in a wedding dress in order to capture the perfect shot! The photos themselves are absolutely outstanding and exceeded all of our expectations. We could not recommend Shannon enough.

My husband and I LOVED our photos. Shannon was so responsive and listened to our vision. She had great ideas for our engagement shoot and posed wedding photos. I created a timeline for our wedding day, which she followed perfectly. She had to go to multiple locations for shooting but was on time and ready to shoot at each one. She was even able to find my house in Carmel, which didn't have an address and is tucked away in a small neighborhood!
We got our photos back a few weeks after the wedding. I cried multiple times looking through them as they were so good. She did an amazing job capturing our day.
Shannon was also a fantastic person to work with. She is laid back, has an eye for photos and backgrounds, and is able to get her subjects to relax and look natural.

Shannon is phenomenal. She has an eye for beauty and effortless way in capturing love. The memories she captured are priceless. Neither of us like being in front of a camera, but she made us feel comfortable. She’s very responsive, professional, and has a very reasonable turn around with getting us sneak peeks and our entire edited album. I would choose her again and again.

Shannon did an incredible job. We happened upon her by chance just a few months before our wedding date. With super short notice, she was able to do an engagement photoshoot with us and got us the photos back in time insanely quickly so we could add them onto our wedding website. During our wedding, Shannon seriously ran the show and got every shot that we wanted. She also gave us time to actually enjoy our event which I appreciated so much. Shannon was everything we could have wished for! She created a custom photo package for us based on our specific needs. We really wanted some special photos of our wedding and wow did she make that happen. I emailed a shot list, inspiration photos, and a schedule to Shannon and she was very responsive to all my communications. She arrived EARLY on the wedding day and had all the specific shots I wanted printed out so we didn’t miss anything. She was professional and fun to be around. We had a great time during all the photos, despite the weather being a little cold and windy. I was nervous about the outcome because of the wind but with the photos we received, you would think there was just a slight breeze! If you don’t have a photographer who quickly brushes off a fall to keep the photos going, then you don’t have a photographer who cares enough. Shannon did amazing with our wedding photos - she was very accommodating and customized her photo package for our location and wedding style. Photos into the night weren’t going to work at our wedding venue and didn’t fit the laid back vibe we wanted, so Shannon helped us with a wedding package that included pictures at our rehearsal dinner but left our guests in peace as the sun set and the reception swung into gear. The photos came out like a dream, and the editing has the perfect classic tones that we wanted. We, our families, and the wider Internet agree that Shannon does an amazing job.


UPDATE: Three years later, and we still can’t stop staring at our entire wedding collection. Not to mention that both I and my mom still have wedding photos as our phone lock background. It's just the perfect shot of a beautiful moment in nature and a very in-love couple (beating out 3 new grandchildren since our wedding...)

I cannot recommend Shannon enough! She is so easy to work with and makes the whole wedding so easy and flawless. She is so flexible and great at adapting in the moment. She truly was so low stress and efficient. And we got the photos back so quickly. Her work is stunning! Her shots are so amazing and we are not a group to enjoy being photographed. But she did so wonderful and I am in love with our wedding photos!!

Shannon was a PHENOMENAL photographer! We had never done professional photography before, and Shannon blew us away. She completely captured the love, joy and feeling of our small family wedding. The photos were better than we could've imagined. She was so kind, patient and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She was extremely knowledgable and captured every large and small moment that made us smile that day! We were initially worried that it would feel awkward posing for photos, or what we would even do, but Shannon was so gracious and fun - she made us feel completely comfortable. Shannon was always one step ahead and was amazing at pivoting to capture the best shot: the sun was getting in the way of our initial family photo location and within seconds she found a better location that had great lighting. Shannon was able to find a magical first-look location as we were getting ready and we didn't even know that spot existed at the venue! We were so grateful to work with Shannon, and can't wait to work with her again for maternity photoshoots and family photos. We adore her, and she will make any bride's wedding photo dreams come true!
