I'm Nico, a nature-obsessed Wedding Photographer based in Santa Cruz, California. Inspired by my upbringing near the Santa Cruz mountains, I founded Nico Faraj Photography to find new adventures and exciting landscapes to explore. I'm a professional people watcher, a certified #instagramboyfriend, and a lover of all things rad. My portfolio features weddings set in majestic mountains to romantic vineyards.

My Approach and Style

My journey as a photographer started in college, capturing my travels to faraway places and epic landscapes. My style heavily reflects that; I love incorporating the location where my couples choose to have their weddings. It helps tell the full story of your day so you can relive the emotions that were felt there.

Posing you and your guests is not my main objective, but sometimes people need some direction, and that's where I'm here to help! Although there might be some staged photos (like family portraits), my main goal is to be a fly on the wall, capturing people's true emotions and natural, candid moments.

During the day, I strategically plan to place myself in the right place at the right time to capture the biggest smiles, uncontrollable laughter, or maybe your mom crying.

I'm eager to not only help you remember your big day through these moments but also to ensure that the celebration itself is a success! Ultimately, my goal is for the love you have for each other to be felt through the images I capture.

Services Offered

As your photographer, I'm down to hike up a mountain, chill on a beach while popping champagne, tell you what to do with your hands, and have a grand ol' time!

During an event, I aim to produce 50 images an hour. I provide both quantity and quality to my clients.

I deliver the final photographs through an online gallery, which allows you to download the photographs and order prints and albums.

I'm open to traveling for destination weddings too. Let me know where you are dreaming of getting hitched, and I'm game to tag along.
