I never saw Santa Cruz Wedding Photographer in my future. I was supposed to be working in LA on big movie sets… But life has a funny way of giving you exactly what you never asked for and making it even better than you could ever dream of. I feel very lucky to have been raised in Santa Cruz, Ca and now to be based here as a local Santa Cruz wedding and elopement photographer.

Kassandra is your girlfriend you didn't know you had...
We could not have asked for a better photographer and person to be with us on our wedding day! First of all, we booked Kassandra pre-pandemic and then had to reschedule our wedding because of covid. Kassandra was so accommodating and flexible with us, completely understanding how hard it was to reschedule a wedding and re-book all of our vendors for a new date. It made working with her a breeze! She came to our first walk through of our venue to check it out and meet in person and it felt like you were walking through with a girlfriend you’ve known forever. It was so great to have a kind, warm, and loving photographer to be all up in your business on your wedding day. She photographed our rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception, and after-wedding beach day. From the moment she arrived on Friday, she just wanted to make us feel our best and most comfortable with her. She was great with communication, easy to coordinate last minute changes, and always up for whatever we threw at her. And let me tell you, the final product is AMAZING!! She captured the joy, silliness, and love of our wedding weekend. We will cherish her photographs for a lifetime.

Loved working with Kassandra
I'll be honest -- I was a bit nervous about organizing my proposal (and the subsequent photo shoot). There were a lot of moving pieces and ideas that I had. Luckily, all my concerns were washed away when I reached out to Kassandra and started working with her.
She is a flawless communicator who puts a ton of time into planning, and creating backup plans for all sorts of contingencies. She's super creative and clearly has a ton of experience. She was tremendously professional, and was even able to make me and my fiance look like we knew how to pose.
The end product -- the most important part -- was stunning. She edited over 150 photos that we really loved. We tried to choose our favorite photos, and despite trying to limit ourselves to the ones we absolutely loved, we still ended up having 62 photos in our favorites.
It was a pleasure to work with Kassandra, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. I hope to have the opportunity to work with her again in the future!

We are so glad we hired Kassandra to photograph our small elopement. She helped us figure out how to create an experience that matched what we were hoping for - and helped us adapt when the weather wasn’t the best. Loved working with Kassandra!!
Kassandra was an absolute dream to work with! She came highly recommended by a wedding photographer friend of ours and we were really impressed by her portfolio. We loved the true-to-life colors and natural, effortless style of her photography. We really clicked on our initial call and knew she would be the perfect fit! We can be more reserved and didn’t have a ton of experience in front of the camera, so her more outgoing, direct but kind style was exactly what we needed. And on the day of, Kassandra was super helpful throughout the whole day, helping coordinate and keep everything on track. She is a true wedding pro - working with other vendors, helping button and bustle my dress, corralling/directing friends and family. We could not have asked for a better teammate to make our day as wonderful as it was! And the photos turned out amazing of course, capturing all the joy and love that we will cherish forever.

Absolutely thrilled to share our experience with Kassandra!
From the moment we met her, we knew we were in capable hands. Her insightfulness about the area not only put us at ease but also added an extra layer of creativity to our special day. We flew in from Chicago, and after having our original plans fold due to weather emergencies, I really don't think we would have landed on our feet with anyone else!
