Facilities and Capacity
The Barns at Cooper Molera is comprised of a classic barn, adobe (clay-brick) house structures, and beautiful outdoor grounds for your ceremony and reception spaces. You will start your day in the Jockey’s Loft, a luxury bridal suite with modern amenities and refreshments served by the Cooper Modera staff. As you move from the loft to the outdoor ceremony space, you’ll be pleased by the venue’s smattering of oak trees and and roses coloring the distant orchards. After the ceremony, guide your guests into the barnyard where natural light meets romantic atmosphere. The 19th century style decor and furnishings add a distinctive charm, and lantern lighting outside will only enhance the magic and ambiance of your big day.
Services Offered
The Barns at Cooper Molera does everything in their power to make your wedding day a happy, stress-free day to remember. On the morning of the wedding they will help you set up equipment, place decor, and ensure everything is ready for your ceremony and reception. Before the ceremony they provide the wedding party with drinks and snacks, as well as pre-ceremony refreshments for your guests as they arrive. After cocktail hour, you and your guests will be served a custom-made menu, including delicious hors d’oeuvres, plated and buffet-style entrees, and late-night snacks to keep your guests’ energy up throughout the evening.

The Barns at Cooper Molera has a sister venue, The Perry House, also located in Monterey County. This venue has a rustic theme, but is more European inspired than the Cooper Molera.

Fantastic food, drink, and people!
Weddings are gob-smackingly expensive these days and while far from cheap, we felt that our dollars here were well spent. The food and beverage were top notch, their team worked closely with us to accommodate specific requests, and we never felt nickel-and-dimed after we were in contract with them. Even after we committed the cardinal sin of getting cold feet on our initial venue choice a few days after signing, they treated us more than fairly and we were able to rebook from Monterey Beach House to the Barns with minimal penalty.
Charlene, the Events by Classic Coordinator whom we worked with, was fantastic and did a stellar job all around. Between our use of EBC’s preferred vendors—all of whom were great—and Charlene’s orchestration of food, beverage, venue, and furnishings meant that we were able to forgo hiring a dedicated coordinator while still being able to enjoy our big day and feel well taken care of. The only bump we encountered was a delay in the dinner service that crunched the back end of the timeline and ate into dancing, but this was a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic and magical day.
