We had the opportunity to book the Asilomar Conference Grounds for a 4 day / 3 night family reunion with 120 guests. From the beginning stages of the planning the process, Rosalie and her staff were great and flexible to help all of the guests get their lodging reserved and helped with special accommodations. We planned on doing three private event dinners throughout the weekend. I worked with Raquel who was very helpful, knowledgable, and flexible - assisting with accommodating guest's dietary restrictions, as well as helping us create a memorable menu. As the event developed, guests arrived, got checked in, and met for a welcome dinner. Edwin and his event staff were 5 star! They were professional, attentive, and would go above and beyond to help make the guest experience memorable. The food was presented on time - fresh, hot, and constantly restocked- as well as beautifully displayed. Guests had a great time exploring the property - very close walk to the beautiful coastline and beach, along with being close to a variety of fun activities in the area. To Rosalie, Raquel, Edwin and all the staff at the Asilomar- thank you for making our family reunion such a memorable event!! We will make sure to contact you when we have our next reunion in your area!!

Everyone here is an absolute gem of a human! From first contact everyone was kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The venue itself is spectacular. It was so calm and peaceful, it really gave us and our guests the serenity we needed on what could easily be a hectic wedding weekend. Mia is a STAR! She made planning the wedding so easy and went above and beyond to make sure it ran smoothly. The food is so incredible! I've been to restaurants where the food wasn't nearly as good. Why are you considering getting married anywhere else? You won't regret picking Pema Osel Ling.

If you are looking for the most uniquely fun wedding venue, look no further!! Camp Carmel Valley is hands down the best choice!! As a a wedding planner myself, I have seen a lot- and I can confidently say that choosing Camp as our wedding venue was the best choice we could have made for so many reasons! From the very beginning my husband and I knew we wanted our wedding to be more than just a one day event and I wanted it to be like no other wedding that any of our guests had ever been to. My goal was for all of my guests to feel taken care of the entire weekend with fun activities and lots of love, so when we found Camp it felt like the perfect option for us! Obviously Camp Carmel Valley is absolutely STUNNING, with gorgeous oak trees and Spanish moss, how could you not fall in love with the scenery?! It is such a unique venue with the most quaint cabins, and great facilities throughout the entire venue. Although the beauty of Camp is hard to compete with, the main reason our wedding was so incredible is because of their camp manager David!!! I don’t even know where to begin with how incredible David was throughout our entire wedding weekend. From the moment we arrived at the camp, it was clear that we were in great hands, but we could never have predicted just how much David and the rest of the CCV team would go above and beyond. When unexpected issues arose, David swooped in like a true superhero- literally saving the day. He handled everything with such grace, professionalism, and total calmness that it honestly felt like nothing was too big of a challenge. Seriously, my wedding weekend would not have been successful without David, and I am eternally grateful for everything he did. I had the most amazing time because of him. I went into that weekend worried that I would be playing the role of both the wedding planner and the bride, but David ensured that everything was handled to perfection, so I could just enjoy! Every guest felt taken care of, and we had the time of our lives, all thanks to David’s expertise and dedication. It truly felt like David and his team were 100% committed to making our day perfect, and we felt so supported throughout the entire planning process. If you're looking for a wedding venue that is not only absolutely stunning but has the BEST camp manager who will be your rock, your calm in the storm, and your secret weapon to making everything run smoothly, look no further. Absolutely loved this venue. The area is behind the lodge and feels smaller in person, but there's definitely plenty of space. Paul was great to work with, though a few communications went unanswered for awhile (he's a busy guy so I get it, but planning from out-of-state made it more stressful). When I mentioned it, though, he more than made up for it with very fast responses from then. The venue also provided a triangle arch, chairs, and rugs as the runner. Overall amazing venue and experience!

This venue is so beautiful and great value. Kathy is super responsive and helpful with recommending local vendors as well. I can't wait for our wedding and for all of our guests to see this location. It's the perfect venue for the whimsical woodland vibes.

We got married here at the end of September and had such a positive experience. The Sequoia is such a special place and photos don't do it justice. Diane (the owner) was also a joy to work with and was beyond helpful and communicative throughout the experience. 1000/10.

We were pleasantly surprised by the help that was offered to organize the chairs and tables after the wedding, thank you! The venue was beautiful and clean.

Talk about a dream come true! I can’t say enough good things about Flora Vista. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and intimate venue. They really made our wedding unforgettable. We loved the idea of byob! It allowed us to create unique ideas for our wedding. We even had a few food trucks that all our guest raved about! Janeen and Seema were very attentive to all of our needs and also gave such great ideas to make our special day even better! All in all it was a beyond perfect experience and we wouldn’t change a thing!!
