So let me give ya a run down of the type of wedding vendor I am:

This is a private cake designing and decorating business that offers high-quality, talented, and creative cakes at affordable prices.

I try to keep things as casual and easy for everyone as possible, since there are sooo many different things to plan for and the formalities can become overwhelming. Wedding planning should be FUN! I've noticed over the years that brides say their wedding day went by way too fast because they were too stressed out with every little thing going right to actually take a breath and enjoy it. My goal is to make this process as simple as possible so my contribution is one less thing to worry about on the day-of.

That being said, I handle the majority of our communication over email so there's a written account of what we both speak of along with a reference to all our ideas and final design. I like to keep it all in one place to minimize miscommunication (so please email me first at RyteousCakesAndArt@yahoo.com rather than messaging me here or anywhere else).

If you'd like to try the cake flavors before hand, I have a reimbursement program where you get 50% back as a credit on your wedding cake balance. If you'd like to order a small cake (or larger cake up to $100), I can certainly whip ya something up! Just let me know what size, flavor, and feel free to get creative with the design…any birthdays or special events coming up that we can decorate it for? Then when you and fiancé taste it and say "my oh my yep ok", I give you a half of what you pay for it as a credit towards your wedding.

Money answers to FAQ: I do require a $50 deposit to hold your date. I do not charge a set up fee. My delivery rates are $10 within a 10 mile radius for standard cakes, outside of that it is $0.50/mile round trip (initial $10 fee is already included into wedding cake prices). I have no other hidden costs (I do not charge $5 per each frosting rose haha). I also do not cover large cakes with fondant, because yuck, it is used for accent pieces.
