I worked with Gwen for a couple of years, so while this may be biased, I can offer my first-hand experience of watching how she works. You're not going to meet someone more dedicated to making you happy. She's not just passionate about cakes and treats, she's passionate about people. I've never met someone who works harder than her and I have two nurses in my family (and am a teacher myself). Gwen has made birthday cakes, graduation desserts, and many pasties (not pastries, but the beef and chicken pasties!) for my family and also did my sister's wedding. I promise you, your cake will taste incredible, it will look flawless, and you will feel so cared about and really listened to. Go with Gwen.

Trifles provided the cake and cupcakes for my daughter's wedding August 5th, 2017. They were not only delicious, but absolutely beautifully decorated! Gwen had the cupcakes set up perfectly and we were so pleased with her artistic display and are still receiving compliments. Highly recommend Trifles!!

Gwen did my cake and pie tarts for my wedding. She was attentive to detail and you can tell she is a master of her craft. She is not just talented with her decorating, but her knowledge on quality of ingredients is evident. I ordered a marble cake with white buttercream frosting and chocolate caramel sea salt filling. IT was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! My guests loved it. We also ordered apple pie tarts and the guests loved them as well! Everything was delicious. She worked with us with the cost as well. Overall, I will go to Trifles for any baked needs/cakes and would recommend them to anyone for their wedding.

Our wedding cake tasted amazing and it was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I highly recommend Trifles bakery. We will be back for birthday and other events!!

Gwen and her staff were amazing!!! Our caterer, 2 Unique, gave us a list of bakers they've used in the past and Trifles sounded the best. I love the name! Then I called and Gwen was so accommodating. She had us come in right away to discuss our cake choices and to taste them. Her shop in West Bloomfield is just the cutest and it smells sooo good! She had several choices out for us to taste, offered us coffee and water. She asked what were were looking for then went to town drawing it up and quoting us for it.

We decided to go with a smaller, two tier chocolate cake. The top tier we took home with us for our 1 year anniversary and the bottom tier we had served to our head table. The cake was chocolate cake, 3 layers, strawberry mouse, chopped fresh strawberry in Chantilly creme and then chocolate mouse. The frosting was a off white cream color and she put the most beautiful sugar flowers on top of it. For all of our guests, we went with 3 different flavors of cupcakes (even though, for the same price she offered us up to 5 different flavors). One was red velvet with creme cheese filling and frosting. The nest was a white cake with a fresh strawberry and jelly topped with whipped creme frosting and the last was a chocolate cake with chocolate filling and frosting! She made them look sooo beautiful and they were, most importantly, delicious!!!

She came early to drop them off the day of the wedding (June 11th 2016) and let us use her cake stands and plates and decorated our cake table to nicely! We had to take her plates and stands back but that was just fine! Trifles, Gwen and her team were wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great cake and the nicest people!!

Best cake ever! It was both beautiful and yummy. I described my theme and she made the most amazing looking cake. Plus it has 3 layers of filling for each tier of the cake. The end effect was a cake that everyone ranted and raved about. Did I mention the cake was all gone by the end of the night?

Trifles captured our my fiancé and my vision for our wedding cake perfectly and it was DELICIOUS. Guests were raving about how good it was days after the wedding. We chose 3 different flavors: carrot cake, cookies and cream, and yellow cake with caramel. We also used Trifles for the day after brunch and they make all of our birthday cakes. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are very affordable, as well.

Gwen and her team did such a wonderful job on our cupcake tower. She helped us with amazing ideas from the information we had given her. She is a true artist. Her desserts are delicious. We recommend Trifles to anyone for any event. She definitely delivered. We had so many compliments and wanted the name and address, so that they could use Trifles for future events.
