BakedByLaceyB provided the cake for our wedding on Mackinac Island in June 2023, and we were blown away by the level of service provided, as well as the stunning cake delivered.
Throughout the process Lacey was responsive and professional, offering a tasting box so my husband and I could decide on the flavors we wanted. When it came to choosing size, flavors, and design, Lacey offered her advice and expertise and was instrumental in helping us bring our vision to life. The end product was a stunning two-tier cake that was absolutely beautiful. Lacey went the extra mile of hand-crafting sugar flowers as decoration, and also providing macarons as auxiliary desserts.
The lemon blueberry cake and chocolate chocolate chip cake were delicious - so much so that we actually ran out of cake at our reception, which I have personally never seen happen at any other wedding. To this day, guests rave about the cake decoration and just how dang good it tasted.
And of course, I would be remiss not to mention that Lacey ensured the cake safely arrived to Mackinac Island for our big day. She made sure that my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing other than deciding which flavor we wanted for our first taste.
Working with Lacey was one of the highlights of our wedding, and the value and care she delivered contributed to our wedding truly feeling like the best day ever!

Lacey Beougher provided an amazing wedding cake for us! From initial contact to flavor selection to design to set up, I can't imagine a better experience. We had selected Lacey based on the pictures of her cakes with handcrafted edible flowers, because there were simply none more beautiful. We absolutely loved working with Lacey for our wedding. From the design process for our cutting cake, to the take-home tasting boxes (she gives large portions and lots of options), everything was seamless and so delicious. Our guests devoured the s’mores whoopie pies and cake balls so quickly and just raves about them. We still dream about our lemon blueberry wedding cake too! Lacey did an amazing job creating our wedding cake! She was so open to our ideas and inspo for our cake and made the most delicious carrot cake we’ve ever had! It was such a big hit among family and friends. We had an out of town wedding so we were very worried about transporting our cake to the venue, but Lacey packaged it up so perfectly that it was a breeze to drive it there! I would definitely recommend her for anyone getting married or any kind of party as she makes incredible cookies as well.
