Rassawek is truly a magical and unique place. We rented the venue for the weekend and used the brand new Pavilion for our reception, having our ceremony just outside with the view of the rolling hills. It was so beautiful, and we have heard from so many guests that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The Pavilion experience was also accessible and comfortable for everyone, which was very important to us. We used the vintage gas station behind the pavilion for our cocktail hour which was a huge hit, and it was so nice to have all of our events right in one location. My husband and I stayed in the Persimmon cabin for the weekend and it was charming and perfect. We had a lot of family and friends coming in from Canada and they were all able to stay on site as well. We utilized the "water's edge" area and the portable pizza oven for our welcome party, and had a small rehearsal dinner at the greenhouse at the Cherokee cabin. We thought it was totally worth it to pay for the whole package at Rassawek because there are so many beautiful spots to utilize. But any spot you choose will be amazing.
On top of that, the team at Rassawek is incredible and their attention to detail was so helpful to us every step of the way - they are absolute pros at what they do. We were able to do multiple site visits with our vendors and literally saw the Pavilion being built from the ground up, and still can't get over how amazing it all turned out.

Wow! Truly unbelievable and majestic venue and the venue coordinators were absolutely the best to work with. We booked the Cherokee package for our 128 person wedding. The venue is such a hidden gem. I don't know how more people aren't aware of this stunning place. Lindsay was our site coordinator and she was unbelievably competent, assertive, sweet to work with. Under Lindsay's guidance the last year you can tell that Rassawek has really come into their own as an extraordinary wedding/reception venue in central VA. Can't say enough nice things about the people there. We loved the package options and thought that there was a TON of value for us with the tent, tables, chairs, and cabins provided. The photos for the property speak for themselves. My advice to engaged couples about the venue: Rassawek is beyond flexible and allow you to bring your own vendors which we Loved! We were able to make our wedding out own. Realize you will need to book your own vendors Cell service is limited, Ubers and Lyfts are likely not a viable plan A, be sure to get reliable transportation back and forth. The day usually comes with a bathroom truck and that was huuuge since it was so convenient. Can't say enough great things about the people and venue. Thank you Rassawek for being the place of our wedding!

My daughter's wedding at Rassawek Vineyards was such a beautiful and unique experience. The wedding party stayed in the Train Cars, the Cherokee cabin, the Saylor cabin and the Persimmon Cabin on Friday and Saturday nights. We had the rehearsal dinner inside the Lodge down from the Pavilion on Friday night. The wedding took place in front of the Pavilion and the reception was inside of the Pavilion. Everyone at Rassawek was great to work with! The whole property is beautiful and has something special to offer in each part. It was a perfect day!

Rassawek is the perfect place to get married! We cannot sing their praises highly enough. We had a camping wedding on site at Rassawek. The night started at the Cherokee cabin for the ceremony & reception, and ended at the train cars for overnight camping and a breakfast food truck the next day. The team at Rassawek was so supportive and had some great ideas of how to utilize their property to its fullest potential (complete with a steam engine exit!). Rassawek is a wonderful venue that allows each wedding planned there to feel unique and authentic to the bride and groom. Get creative and the Rassawek team will help make it happen!! The whole team was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. All of our guests loved Rassawek and many went back for the fall festival a few weeks later so that they could explore the property even more. We loved our experience working with the Rassawek team and would highly recommend them!

We searched far and wide for a wedding venue that matched what we were looking for and Rassawek was the clear winner. A lot of venues lock you into using certain vendors, even times for your wedding are pre-set. Rassawek was so flexible and allowed us to create a wedding that truly represented us. We used the hilltop location and took full advantage of the spaces offered, but the entire site is beautiful and allows for a lot of creativity in how you use it which makes planning fun. Our wedding was the first held in the tent site overlooking the water and it was beautiful! It was colder than expected so we rented heaters last minute that were a life saver. They have everything you need onsite and we could use the grounds as we wanted for pictures. Plus, we could have our dog!

The entire team was so friendly and helpful in the planning process, and on the day of we had all the support we could've wanted. They helped set up, clean up, move guests around, managed the super cool fire pit, and so much more. Absolutely recommend them as a venue!

Rassawek and it’s team of excellent folks gave me my dream come true wedding day! The venue is absolutely stunning and provides so many fun options for a fun wedding weekend! The train cars and cabins were the perfect place for our bridal party to stay and made for such a unique experience! I would recommend this venue to any and all!

We fell in love with this venue and are so glad that we chose to get married at Rassawek. Our wedding photos were breathtaking among the grapevines in May! As a sometimes indecisive bride who felt like I was making endless wedding day decisions, choosing Rassawek as a venue was one choice that was easy for me to make. If I had to do it all over again, I’d still choose Rassawek as our wedding venue. I highly recommend it!

This wedding venue is remarkably stunning!! We loved everything about it from the day of our first visit. From the wedding venue staff (who were super helpful and accommodating and truly sincere and genuine), to the rustic cabins we were able to utilize for the bride and groom parties, and the beautiful covered bridge (where we had the actual ceremony) was everything I could have imagined!! It also had been slightly rainy that day and the night before which made things wet for the reception and they gracefully accommodated our wedding party for the reception to another location without hesitation. There are amazing views every inch of the venue literally! They offer different options for wedding settings in their packages. We highly recommend this venue. It was beyond anything I could have ever imagined as far as the majestic setting! They have a marvelous team!! I highly suggest checking them out!
