We hired Pam because we had seen weddings she had planned at the Anderson House, and her design was exactly what we had in mind for our wedding. From the first meeting, we could truly tell how excited and enthusiastic she was about planning her clients' dream wedding. We were extremely worried about planning a wedding during COVID, but Pam made everything go so smoothly, and she was absolutely worth every penny. She could somehow picture everything we wanted before even saying it, which made our jobs so much easier in trusting Pam's vision. Even leading up to the day of the wedding, where it was raining in the morning and there were road closures/traffic due to a parade in DC, Pam was still unflappable in getting 1000 things done while still smiling and laughing with us. She was an absolute dream to work with, and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner!

Pam helped us navigate difficult weather and multiple road closures to pull off a perfect day. She was completely unflappable and professional, keeping the wedding party and guests calm as she got all the vendors set up after a lengthy weather delay. She advocated for us when the venue wanted to move everything in doors and we had the most beautiful wedding!

From the moment we hired her, she went above and beyond to make us feel special and important when it came to planning our wedding. When we hired her in Feb. 2020, little did we know that the world would change drastically in the coming months. We could not have weathered all the changes we made (date, venue, and vendor switches due to COVID) if it wasn’t for Natalie. Her guidance, thoughts, and compassion truly got us through one of the hardest periods for us. In addition, when we changed the total look and feel of the wedding to fit a new venue (went from indoor social club in DC to outdoor inn in Middleburg, VA), she didn’t blink an eye and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. She understood our fears and anxiety (and sadness at times) and made sure that our June 2021 wedding would be special.

I could go on and on about how great Natalie is, but most of all, she is one of the kindest people I know. She truly cares about her couples and will do everything she can to make sure your special day is how you envision it. Our wedding was able to happen thanks to all the work Natalie did and we cannot thank her enough. Hiring Natalie was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. Within the first few minutes of our initial phone conversation, I knew that Natalie would be the perfect match for us. After interviewing many wedding planners & designers , I chose Natalie from Pamela Barefoot Events. From the start, Natalie was highly motivated, energetic, and excited to plan our wedding!

I wish i had the words to adequately review Natalie, but I don't think I do! I have never met someone who is as good at what they do as Natalie is. My husband and I moved to Charleston, SC 7 months before our wedding, which was a bit overwhelming to move 8 hours away during the height of wedding planning. Working with Natalie made what I presumed to be an extremely stressful situation just the opposite. The process was fun and exciting and there was never any doubt that our big day wouldn't be perfect. Natalie executed my vision PERFECTLY and was such a delight to work with. The best part about working with Natalie is her calming and upbeat demeanor--she had a perfect solution to literally every question or concern I had. Our wedding day was without a doubt the best day of my life--filled with so much happiness and zero stress--I owe pretty much all of that to Natalie. She is AMAZING. If I could offer any newly engaged couple one piece of advice it would be, HIRE NATALIE.

Pamela Barefoot was essential to my wedding day! I don't know what we would have done without her. Truly she went above and beyond to make sure everything went flawlessly. The week of my wedding we thought there would be rain and she went to the effort of getting umbrellas the day before my wedding just to make me feel better about the rain!

She also would offer to completely take over any detail that she could see I was struggling with - particularly since I did not live in the location of my wedding venue. It really was so invaluable to have. The vendors she selected were also amazing and you could tell she had great relationships with them so it was so easy to work with them!

She truly was able to help me navigate every aspect of the wedding process, and on the wedding day made sure that every aspect went so smoothly and that I could enjoy the wedding day!!
