Maria and Whitney were fabulous to work with and couldn't be sweeter! From our first conversation, I could sense their passion and immediately felt confident that I could trust them to bring my vision to life. The thoughtful touches they recommended truly elevated my venue and the flowers could not have been more stunning! Even with just the classic white and green as my colors, they were able to design bouquets, ground arrangements and other large installments that had so much variety and visual interest.

My ceremony was outdoors and I was anxious about my rain plan but they went above and beyond to ease any worries for how they would rearrange designs to still make it look beautiful indoors and even offered to bring a pergola free of charge as a backup in case of bad weather. The weather was perfect, but it was nice to know they could be so flexible!

We chose Darling & Daughters because of their excellent customer service. Even though we were a small wedding, they helped with setup and really worked with us to define our vision. They also did not try to oversell anything beyond our budget. Their designs were gorgeous and really set the stage for a perfect day!

Darling & Daughters came as a recommendation from our wedding planner, and we couldn't have asked for a more amazing vendor. From our first meeting with Maria, we knew she was someone who was incredibly passionate about her work and loved to share that passion. It is simply impossible to put into words how amazing Whitney and Maria are. They are indescribable. They are talented, kind, funny, patient, understanding, and just an overall joy to be around. I’m so thrilled that we hired Darling & Daughters for our wedding florist. Maria and Whitney were amazing to work with. They were so excited about my ~vision~ for the wedding and really brought it to life in spectacular fashion. All of the arrangements were absolutely stunning (particularly my gorgeous bouquet).

For our ceremony, they thoughtfully designed a beautiful asymmetric visual, and we were able to repurpose the individual components for the ballroom. For the table arrangements, my parents had very strong opinions about tall floral arrangements, so they designed two beautiful and lush sets of low arrangements which were absolutely stunning, as well as some hanging greenery.

The bouquets were a particular highlight. My bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses, and the bridesmaid bouquets were absolutely perfect for tying the overall dress aesthetic together. My bridal bouquet was a total showstopper. Everyone’s jaws dropped when they brought it into the bridal suite.

Finally, Maria and Whitney were just lovely to work with. I kept coming back with more thoughts and ideas and they were happy to incorporate additional elements into their design. They were very collaborative, eager to make their gorgeous seasonal flowers fit seamlessly with our other decor choices. The whole process of working with them was seamless!

Darling & Daughters exceeded all of my expectations and then some. I may be biased, but I do think our florals were the prettiest I've ever seen at a wedding. Not only did Maria and her team curate the most fabulous (locally sourced) wedding florals anyone could ever dream of, Maria also became a counselor of sorts to me as we planned and re-planned our wedding due to COVID. Darling & Daughters has the most beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets I've ever seen. I first saw their arrangements in my favorite DC bakery, Buttercream Bakeshop, and knew that was the florist I wanted for our wedding. Maria is so easy and fun to talk to - she turned my very rough vision into everything I could have imagined. The arrangements and flower choices she chooses are so unique and dainty. Darling and Daughters knocked it beyond out of the park for our intimate 30-person September wedding. Maria was nothing but a goddess who provided stunning, lush arrangements replete with blooms that impressed all who saw them for our 1) wedding shower 2) to mark our original wedding date and 3) for our actual wedding, all while being respectful of our budget. Maria was with me through venue changes and extensive back and forth -- I had a lot of opinions and vision! She went above and beyond to be flexible with design elements for us.
