Our wedding with a few friends and family was everything we wanted it to be. Tomi was very accommodating to give us choices of anything we wanted & very helpful with any questions we had. We couldn't of asked for a better location. It was everything we imagined. Most of our guests stayed in the mansion & we stayed in the carriage house. All the rooms were amazing! Dinner/cake/drinks/atmosphere/breakfast all was great!

Me and husband wanted a small intimate ceremony with just the two of us but including everything that comes with a big wedding. Tomi listened and provided every request my heart desired. She took care of the flowers, dinner, cake, and provided a list of photographers. (Shutter Every Moment) Our day was perfect and I would do the same all over again! :)

When my husband and I had to postpone our original wedding plans for this August, we still wanted the day to feel special even on a much smaller scale. I have known about The Mercersburg Inn for five years since I began working at the Academy across the street, so I began to research and fell in love with their intimate wedding options. We had our ceremony at The Academy, but moved to The Inn for dinner. (Honestly, the Inn is so gorgeous, I was ready to relocate the ceremony in case of rain...so beautiful!) My parents and sister who live out of town stayed at The Inn and the rooms were beautiful. My sisters also reserved a room for my husband and I for the wedding night, and that gave me an idyllic place to get ready. We even had tea service brought to the room while we were getting ready. For the reception/ dinner, we were able to reserve the West Porch for our party of 15 people (all family) and decorate with centerpieces I brought in the day before. The food was superb too! Both my husband I am marveled at how celebratory the whole evening felt and part of that was the scenery and environment of The Inn. Tomi was incredibly attentive to my many questions and personalizations over the two months we worked together. If I had an idea, she helped me figure out how to make it happen, and she was even incredibly flexible and understanding with last minute requests. (i.e. We had a last minute change of plans and decided the day before that we wanted to reserve space for breakfast the day after for my family. Tomi and Darla made it happen). Three weeks beforehand, Tomi told me that another couple asked about having their small wedding at The Inn on the same day. the idea of another family/social group in the space made me nervous, but Tomi ensured that the two parties were kept separate from one another and all health guidelines were followed. We didn't even realize the other couple was there until we saw them checking out the next day. The Mercersburg Inn is truly an ideal place to host a wedding. We had a microwedding due to COVID, but I could easily envision a larger wedding on the grounds as well. The whole feeling of the day was perfect. The setting and service really helped to set the stage for such a special day. thank you to Tomi and her team! I highly recommend The Mercersburg Inn if you're looking for a classic, charming, intimate wedding vibe.

My fiance and I looked at a few different venues for our elopement. We wanted to be within a few hours drive of our home, a pretty venue and a reasonable cost. It just so happened that Mercersburg Inn was the cheapest cost but also the one whose photos we liked best. Having never been there before it was a risk, but we decided to do it. We drove about 3 hours, I got my hair done at a local salon (Iris Moon is amazing!) and then we got married in the evening. The innkeeper Tomi coordinated the officiant for us. We had a private ceremony, then had drinks, took photos and had an amazing dinner in the dining room. Then we had champagne and cake. The next day we did the Cowans Gap hike. It was quiet and private just like we wanted it. We are very private introverts who didn't want the traditional wedding experience of being on display, spending thousands of dollars and having to stress over every little detail. Tomi was great and it couldn't have been a better experience. The inn is beautiful and the pictures look like we spent a lot more than we didn't. I'm adding the cost of the elopement package to my review, but keep in mind we also paid for our room for 2 nights, dinner and drinks.

An amazing way to plan a beautiful, stress-free wedding for a small group! As a working professional, I had no time to plan a wedding and Mercersburg Inn made it easy! We only had to invite our guests, bring our apparel, rings and make a few decisions about the reception. Mercersburg Inn took care of everything else! Everything was perfect including the ambiance of the Inn. Thank you Tomi & Steve! We can't wait to spend our anniversary there next year!

The Mercersburg Inn was the perfect wedding venue! We rented out the entire Inn for the evening of the ceremony for guests to stay with us and celebrate, and also rented half of the Inn for the night before the ceremony for out of town guests. We had the best time of our lives! Tomi was so organized, responsive, and professional, and I knew every detail was being carefully watched over by her. Darla made us all feel like family, and the rest of the staff couldn’t have been any more lovely. I wish we could get married again, just to do it all over. My husband and I decided to have a small ceremony and the Mercersburg Inn made it effortlessly magical for us! The Inn has so much history; the building itself and the grounds are very well maintained. Tomi was responsive and communicative with me throughout the planning leading up to our big day, and handled all day-of arrangements. She made our wedding entirely stress-free with her help! We stayed at the Inn for the remainder of the week and the hospitality was consistently exceptional. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful and stress-free low-key wedding! We can’t wait to come back on our anniversary!

My husband and I decided on an intimate wedding at the Mercersburg Inn. The owners were very flexible in helping us tweak their elopement package into an intimate wedding package so that our loved ones could be present. Everything turned out seamlessly, better than we could have hoped. We filled the Inn with all of our loved ones and were married in a gorgeous sun filled room in front of the fireplace. The food and service were exceptional, and the Inn itself is restored beautifully.

Steven and Tomi are great and took care of every detail. We were absolutely thrilled to be their guests, and my husband and I feel very lucky to have been married at the Mercersburg Inn. We, of course, think it's the best wedding venue around and plan to return for weekend getaways in the future.

Our wedding was simple but elegant with little effort. The Innkeeper (Tomi) was super helpful and kept everything organized. The hotel offered such beauty on its own, we hardly had to decorate. The food was delicious and bar service was prompt. We loved that family had a place to stay as well. Loved this place! We had beautiful scenery for all our photos! Big Plus!
