Dealing with this hotel was awful. I can not say one good thing about this hotel or the staff who run it. The staff, management included, does not want to work and they don't respond to emails or answer their phone in a timely manner. It sometimes took over a week to get simple questions answered. They don't know how to manage their event calendar and told me and my husband that we would be able to set up the night before and two days before the wedding then told us they had a party booked in there and that we couldn't get in there like they had promised. The rooms were dusty, dirty and even had bugs! Some of our guests air conditioning didn't work(our honeymoon suite included), others were freezing because they couldn't turn it down. The entire staff was rude. Maura, the sales manager, who was to be my point of contact, didn't say more than two words to me the entire weekend and we saw her sitting at the bar drinking more often that we saw her working. Which explains why she never answered her phone or responded to my emails. I had our wedding g booked at this hotel for almost a year and a half and up until two weeks before the wedding(a large banquet) I hadn't even been told that there was a banquet manager. Then all of a sudden I was having to meet with her two weeks before our date! She was very unprofessional and did lot have any of the papers or emails that I had sent to my point of contact.Sent on 06/09/2018
When i complained and asked to speak to the manager of the hotel she turned out to be someone who had been wandering around all weekend and hadn't even thought to introduce herself, even though she knew we were having issues. At one point during the conversation she even said to me "well what do you expect me to do about it?" In a very rude tone. They think that they did nothing wrong and that because my and my husband put in a lot of work to make our wedding nice that they did a good job.
They did nothing to make our day special and we will never be returning.
