After falling severely ill and being hospitalized during the 2021 holiday season, my (now) husband and I decided to marry within days before the end of the year. Mellissa Mack came highly recommended. Melissa, after hearing my unfortunate situation and being the kind person that she is, literally accommodated me on a whim.
Melissa is a true make-up and hair professional (not to mention an amazing Lash Technician). She is friendly, talented, creative, on trend, and has an instinct for beauty. I did not have a trial run, because of the time restriction. Mellissa took the time to listen and understand the look I was seeking. I have always loved make-up/hair and can be quite picky. Mellissa captured the look I was envisioning way above my expectations! Mellissa’s intuition and eye for beauty goes beyond the conventional appearance. As the saying goes “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Because of Melissa’s professional and natural make-up application along with my trendy hair style, I am proud to look at my wedding photographs!

Melissa was AMAZING! First off, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating. We were doing a "destination" wedding (we live on the west coast but family is in Massachusetts). Because of the timing I wasn't sure if I'd be able to have a trial, but Melissa was able to fit me in several days before the wedding, smack in the middle of the holidays. It was so, so appreciated. I also asked somewhat last minute if we could fit in my mom & aunt for hair, and she was super willing to start an hour earlier to fit them in, which was incredible.

I loved my hair and makeup. Melissa took time to listen to what I wanted and asked for feedback throughout to make sure I was happy with how things were looking. I was also FLOORED by how long both my hair and make up lasted. My curls lasted all day, including through a misty, windy beach photo session. My make-up survived and thrived many, many bouts of tears. I am fairly self conscious about my appearance, but I can genuinely say I felt unreservedly beautiful on my wedding day. 11/10 would recommend Melissa Mack Makeup!
