Working with Mia and Little Acorn Events was the best decision we made during our planning process, hands down. After a very rocky start to our planning process with another wedding planner, we were extremely skittish to hire another planner, but after our first call with Mia, her genuine care for her couples and belief that everyone deserves a joyful and low-stress engagement came through so clearly.

Mia and her team are fabulous! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Little Acorn Events for our wedding. From the very beginning of planning, a year and a half before, Mia understood the vision we were wanting to portray on our wedding day. There aren’t enough words to share how incredible Macie and the team at Little Acorn Events were to work with. Throughout planning, I would consistently tell folks that there’s no way I can be stressed, because I knew Macie would handle it. She was detail oriented, helped keep us calm, and an incredible problem solver. We had some boutonniere issues on the day of, and within 5 minutes, she took a flower from a bouquet and whipped up a new one! That’s just one example of her ability to think on her feet and leave us with no stress. The resources and guidance that the whole team provided throughout the whole process were extremely helpful. We could not have had the incredible wedding day that we had without Little Acorn Events!!

Since wedding coordination is my career, my standards were very high and I was worried we wouldn’t be able to find a coordinator I trusted. Mia quelled ALL of my worries and blew me away with her skill and knowledge at every turn. Mia was seamlessly organized, deeply kind, and highly professional through the entire process. She started every meeting genuinely asking how we were in not only our wedding planning lives, but also just in our day to day. She truly wanted to get to know US and from that blossomed a beautiful relationship that didn’t feel contractual or forced at all. She somehow made it feel as if we were the only couple she was working with and like we were a top top top priority for her! Plus, her design suggestions are impeccable! She has taste and an eye for all things beautiful! Hiring LAE was the number 1 best decision we made for our wedding!

QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR COORDINATOR!!! We are a queer couple and Mia was so incredibly supportive of us and our identities the entire time. She cared about and understood pronouns, family dynamics, and more without making it a big deal. She was 100% open to throwing tradition out the window when it didn’t suit us but also totally here for upholding it when it felt right. She LOVED our clothing choices and encouraged us to embrace our true selves instead of what the wedding industry told us we had to wear. We felt truly celebrated!

On the big day, Mia and her team, Macie and Tiffany, were early and on the ball! The second they arrived I could feel my nerves disappear knowing they would be overseeing every little detail. They came ready with every form (and extra copies) imaginable, dressed professionally and in line with our color pallet, and miced up for quick and discreet communication. Our wedding party and guests were raving about how kind they all were and how well they executed everything that day. As a couple, my spouse and I felt at ease and were able to let go and have a blast on our wedding day because we knew all the little details were in the BEST hands.

We heard from guests that the shuttle had messed up big time and literally went to the wrong hotel. Mia and her team fixed the issue SO FAST and kept it SO QUIET that we had no idea anything was wrong and we were able to enjoy our evening blissfully unaware that our guests almost didn’t make it to the ceremony! Then, after the wedding Mia had already reached out to the shuttle company to begin dialogue about what happened and to request a refund without us even having to ask her! I cannot possibly recommend Mia and LAE enough and we will forever look back on our beautiful wedding day with fond stress free memories thanks to LAE!
