If you're looking for a photographer in Seattle, there really isn't anyone else to use but the folks at Lifebox. We worked with Win and Johan for our October 2010 wedding and they're true professionals that love what they do -- and it shows. They did an engagement session for us since I was worried whether they'd know what angles I prefer (I'm notoriously unphotogenic) and the results were amazing. When you look at wedding photos, there are some that resemble the shots we take -- they know when to take the photo, but the framing/color/depth of field is plain. NOT with Lifebox. Their photos particularly explore depth of field to spectacular results. I've been told my wedding looked like it should be covered by Vogue when folks saw just the first 10+ images Lifebox posted just weeks after the wedding (read: not necessarily the best of the bunch nor oodles of time taken to retouch). Without a doubt, this will be the first number I call when I want future photos taken. And not to be forgotten, the personalities/professional attitude of Win and Johan really made our day. Always smiling, they weren't pushy or intrusive (guests say they didn't even notice the photographers) and were able to capture staged photos (in very interesting ways) in just a few clicks (read: 10+ groups ranging from groups of 2 to 50 with kids to older adults in less than 45 minutes. WOAH!).

As far as the price, I'll also say this is the most affordable/accessible local photography studio that produces this quality of images. Benefit from my hundreds of hours of research and just go with Lifebox!

These guys are seriously the real thing. They know what they're doing - and even if you're not photogenic, graceful, etc. (my husband and I hate being in front of the camera) - they will make you look gorgeous and take some beautiful shots.

They were photographers at a friend's wedding which is how I first saw them - and I knew I had to get them! During the engagement, I was constantly looking at wedding pictures, on a ton of different websites from both Seattle and around the nation, and nothing beat Lifebox. They're not the most well known, but they are hands down the best.

Plus, you get two photographers for the price of one. AND - these guys are so nice and funny, they'll put you at ease in front of the camera.
