We just had our Maui wedding and worked with Ku’uipo. Ku’uipo and her team are incredible and made our wedding day so special. From the beginning of working with her she made us feel like family, helping us along our wedding planning journey. Whether you hire Ku’uipo for full fledged wedding planning or just day of coordination we would 10/10 recommend.

It is NO exaggeration to say that Kuuipo hands down saved my wedding. After dealing with MONTHS of difficulties with our venue in Paia, Maui and losing our original wedding planner weeks before our wedding with no notice, my husband and I were at the end of our rope. Not only are you legally required to have a coordinator for every venue on Maui, but we were 5 WEEKS OUT when our original planner up and left us and we had no one to turn to. We were recommended Kuuipo and called her immediately, and not only did she listen to our plights, agree to take on the absolute MESS we were dealing with and HEAVILY reassure us that her and her team would take good care of us, she also freaking DELIVERED. She wrangled our vendors, handled communication with our venue, provided emotional support during the time leading up, answered every phone call no matter what day, and was a joy to work with. I've attended and been in my fair share of weddings before and never have I seen a planner be as efficient, kind, flexible, adaptable and reliable as Kuuipo. Plus her team was just as wonderful as she was, and never once during my wedding day did I feel pressured to make decisions or handle anything because Kuuipo and her team made sure to deal with any issues that came up internally or turned to our bridal party for answers, not the bride and groom. She embraced my creative (and eccentric) vision of what I wanted for our decorations and set up and never made me feel like I had to change how I wanted things, and her and her team executed the layout and design perfectly. I felt like our wedding was in loving hands, which was worth it's weight in gold after the year and half we had of nightmare planning. My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner! Do yourself a favor, especially if you're a local family, HIRE KUUIPO WEDDINGS. It'll save you soooo much time, effort, tears, frustration, stress and overwhelm because Kuuipo and her team were seriously a 100000/10.

Kuuipo is the best at what she does.She made planning our wedding so smooth and stress free. Her energy and positivity is what you need in a wedding planner/ coordinator. We only got good things to say about her because she had executed our wedding so perfectly.
There isn't a lot of wedding planners here on Maui that understands and works well with the Locals.We are so happy we found her. Our wedding day was flawless thanks to our amazing coordinator Ku'uipo. Her and her team were organized, communicative, creative, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Her calm presence and attention to detail were exceptional, making our day stress-free and unforgettable. She even had a plan B for us if the weather wasn't going to cooperate! But luckily we didn't have to use it. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a perfect wedding!

Kuuipo is professional, helpful and fun. We had some challenges along the way (as weddings, especially destination weddings, do) and there’s absolutely no way we could’ve done any of it without her. She kept us calm and positive through out the planning process and the outcome was nothing short of magic. She even managed to get us a rainbow during the ceremony. 🥰 We cannot speak enough great things about Kuuipo as a professional but also as a person. We love her! My only complaint is we don’t get to talk as often anymore. 😉
