I wanted a unique, thicker wedding band that had a nature theme of vines or branches, but I was having trouble finding something like it. Enter Hunt Country Jewelers. My husband spotted them at one of the bridal shows and they were perfect. I drove up to the shop a few weeks later and they custom designed a ring for me based off of the bands I liked in their case and my request for something light and airy, with just a little sparkle. The ring is BEAUTIFUL. It fits perfectly, thanks to Claire's suggestion to size it up a little due to it's thickness (it doesn't sit in that groove at the base of the finger, it sits higher up), and it's incredibly comfortable. And did I mention it is beautiful? Also, it was less than 1/2 the cost of a nature-inspired band I found at a larger store even though it's 1000x prettier. Who would have thought?

Simply put, Hunt Country Jewelers is a charming little place that makes incredible jewelry at great prices. Because it's a small, family-owned business, we got to know the owners throughout the process, and we really enjoyed establishing a relationship with them that went beyond a simple business transaction. Their work was outstanding -- they took an ancient family heirloom engagement ring and crafted a wedding band that matched both the design and the contour of the engagement ring, and the two rings look fantastic together. They completed their work quickly and well within the timeline they gave me at the beginning -- and in plenty of time for the wedding. We also bought my husband's wedding band through them -- it wasn't custom made, but we got a great deal on it! I did quite a bit of research on wedding bands, and Hunt offered by far the best prices. It's great value for very important jewelry!
