Historic Ashland is an upscale wedding venue located in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. This WeddingWire Couples’ Choice award-winning property dates back to the state of Pennsylvania’s founder, William Penn. Refinement is more than a fresh coat of paint or a set of new furniture. At Historic Ashland, there’s a defined purpose behind every ash beam, copper detail, and fused iron fixture. Historic Ashland’s modern designs, combined with its rich 200+ year history, provide an authentic, yet contemporary canvas for your momentous wedding or grand event. Full day wedding packages range from $8,000 to $11,500 for 2024-2025 weddings.

Historic Ashland can accommodate up to 150 wedding guests in its indoor and outdoor event spaces. The gorgeous property’s Mansion and Lodge are surrounded by private lush grounds.

April Wedding at HA

Historic Ashland was the perfect venue for our April wedding! From the moment we toured the property, we fell in love with the atmosphere and potential it offered for our wedding day. Leah and her entire team were quick to respond and schedule showings, answer questions through the planning process, and they executed our ceremony and reception perfectly. Amanda was our Day of Coordinator and was someone we could fully trust to keep the day running smoothly. Not only were we in love with how the day went, but so many of our guests also complimented how beautiful the venue was and how they enjoyed their time too! Scott and I couldn't recommend Historic Ashland enough to any prospective couples for a wedding venue in South Central Pennsylvania.

Best Venue!

It’s hard to even articulate how incredible this venue is. We worked with Amanda as our day of coordinator. She spent so much time making sure everything was perfect so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Working with Leah was also wonderful! She is so involved with clients. We had multiple guests tell us how impressed they were with the venue and the staff. We had the most incredible day! Everything was exactly how we envisioned it. Historic Ashland is truly a stunning property; I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It was an amazing experience, 100/10 recommend! ❤️

Best Venue EVER!

Historic Ashland was a dream. We just had our wedding there in July 2024 and it was truly the best day. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous inside and out but the staff is absolutely amazing. Leah, Amanda, and all of the Ashland staff are phenomenal. We cannot thank them enough for making this the best day ever. They made the planning process and the day itself so easy, smooth, and stress free. I did not have to worry about a thing because I knew with them, we were in great hands. You can truly tell they have pride in ownership and love what they do. The second we drove through the gates for our tour, we knew it was going to be the place we got married. Everything about the venue is beautiful. From the getting ready areas in the mansion and cottage, to the stream-side ceremony, and the barn (insert heart eyes). Words cannot express how perfect it is. Our wedding day went flawlessly and we have the wonderful staff at Ashland to thank for that. Family and friends continue to express how amazing our wedding was and that it was the best they have ever been to. This is hands down the best venue and I will continue to recommend it to everyone I know! Ashland fam forever!!
