Wind in the Willows is a wedding and event venue in Grantville, Pennsylvania. Located in the heart of central Pennsylvania on a 15-acre farm, this beautiful venue sits at the base of Blue Mountain and offers stunning views, including a three acre lake on the property.
Facilities and Capacity
Wind in the Willows is a space of country charm and modern elegance. The stone barn is heated and air conditioned to allow for use year-round, and provides beautiful views of the well-maintained grounds. The property also has a cottage and bridal suite for the wedding party to prepare before the wedding day begins. The gorgeous outdoor scenery provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor ceremonies. Indoor ceremonies can be held at the Wedding Chapel, a mid 19th century church - renovated and temperature controlled. The chapel is also available for receptions.

Everything we do at Wind in the Willows revolves around our three core values, which guide and direct everything we do:
1. Value - Our goal is to provide our couples with as much as we possibly can in one place and with one price. We don't want our clients to feel nickle and dimed at every step in the process. Everything we offer at the venue (tables, chairs, barrels, arbors, decorations, etc.) is included with our base package pricing.
2. Flexibility - Weddings at Wind in the Willows are not cookie cutter. Each of our couples brings with them a unique vision for their wedding. We want to embrace and support that vision and help our couples see it come to life. We also want to make sure our couples have flexibility in the vendors they choose. We do not have exclusive vendors, so our couples are free to choose vendors that fit their style and budget. Ultimately, we know that the best way for our couples to realize their dream wedding and still stay within budget is to have the flexibility to be in control of their own destiny.
3. Family - Wind in the Willows has always been a family owned business. We want our couples and their guests to feel that when they walk through our doors. Our couples are treated as family, not transactions. It is our deep belief that creating and cultivating a family atmosphere plays a huge role in how our couples experience their special day here.

We used the barn for our reception, and it was perfect. It’s stunning both inside and out, and the existing decor meant we didn’t have to add much. We wanted to keep it simple and maintain the rustic barn look. We also appreciated the option to use their shed of decor—it saved us money and made decorating easy! Aaron is incredibly responsive to emails and was always helpful throughout the process.
One of our favorite features was the opportunity to use their vintage truck for our ride down to the aisle and for photos—it was such a fun touch! We also loved that we could choose our own vendors, with a helpful list provided on their website. The website itself is easy to navigate, and we appreciated that the venue is located near several hotels, giving guests plenty of options. Lastly, the wedding planner they send to be filled out is a fantastic tool for staying organized.
