About
Natalie Wagner is a harpist with a passion for playing what people don't expect to hear on the harp. She's been performing on the harp for over 16 years. Drawing inspiration from classical harpists like Yolanda Kondonassis and innovation from harpists like Deborah Henson-Conant and Erin Hill, she's created her own unique versatile playing style.
She studied with harpists Margaret Germain, Cheryl Losey-Feder (former Principle Harpist of the Sarasota Orchestra), and Ann Hobson-Pilot (former Principle Harpist of the Boston Pops and Boston Symphony Orchestras).
Natalie has gathered experiences learning special requests for brides, uploading unique songs to YouTube, and creating her own improvisations between songs. From Beethoven to the Beatles, from Canon in D to the Over World Theme of Super Mario Bros. 2, and music from the Little Mermaid to Titanic.
She chose the name Harp Soup, because her playing style combines a little bit of everything to create something warm for the soul. Plus soup is her favorite food.
Natalie lives in the vibrant city of Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her violinist and very red headed husband, Jesse Stephenson.
