Arioso Strings is a professional music group in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area that plays wedding ceremony and event music. With a large variety of classical and contemporary music, and highly experienced musicians, Arioso Strings adds elegance and beauty to your wedding or event.
Experience
LUCY GREENLEAF, violinist, has been performing and working with Arioso Strings since moving to the Raleigh area in 2014. She has an undergraduate degree in violin performance from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. In addition to performing with Arioso Strings, Lucy has played with the North Carolina Opera, North Carolina Symphony, the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle, Fayetteville Symphony and The Carolina Philharmonic.
Instrumental Groups:
Arioso Strings has a variety of instrumental groups experienced in creating the perfect, elegant atmosphere for weddings and other events:
- Quartet: two violins, viola and cello
- Quintet: two violins, viola, cello and double bass
- String Trio: two violins and cello
- String Duo: violin & guitar; violin & cello, two guitars or two violins
- Solo: guitar, violin, cello, trumpet or voice
- Solo Piano (digital piano provided if needed)
- Piano with violin or cello
A Typical One Hour Wedding Includes:
- 30 minutes of prelude music as guests arrive and are seated
- Music for seating mothers and grandmothers
- Music for the bridesmaids
- Processional for the bride
- Music during candle lighting or other ceremony (optional)
- Recessional for bride and groom
- Additional music as guests exit
