A little bit about us.....Since 1997, Corda Entertainment has performed over 3000 weddings! We specialize in elegant music for weddings, receptions, and special events in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Raleigh, Charlotte, Asheville, and the surrounding areas of North Carolina and Virginia. As an award-winning company, our agency has been featured for excellence in numerous magazines, including Offbeat Bride, Triad Style, and Emorywood Living.

I'm Alison Lawson, owner of Corda Entertainment, and Assistant Principal Second Violin with The Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. I collaborate with Greensboro's most talented players. Our professional musicians are highly skilled with advanced performing degrees. Corda, meaning "string" in Italian, emphasizes what we do best - string combinations of ALL kinds.

We offer beautiful solo instruments, including violin, cello, trumpet, flute, harp, guitar, piano/organ, and vocals, as well as electric violin and keyboard, string duos, trios, quartets, quintets, small orchestras, and jazz bands. We provide music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, rehearsal dinners, private parties, and more...

Our company offers great versatility in musical styles ranging from light classical, Jewish, tangos, rags, Broadway and pop, jazz, Fairytale Princess theme, Bridgerton theme, and Taylor Swift theme to contemporary artists of today. Our Now Trending Favorite Albums for string duos, trios, and quartets have become a huge hit for cocktail hours and beyond. Some of the artists include Ed Sheeran, Elton John, James Taylor, Beyonce, Freddie Mercury, Christina Perri, Extreme, Camila Cabello, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes, Michael Buble, and so many more. Our Corda Electric Duo (electric violin/keyboard) has been a hit with ceremonies as well as cocktail hours and receptions. The songbook options are limitless with this new modern duo and can take the place of a DJ.

We have two locations, Charlotte, NC, and Greensboro, NC, to help serve the needs from western to eastern North Carolina.
