We booked the string quartet with Corda for our wedding ceremony music and they were wonderful!! They worked directly with us to meet all of our specific needs so we were able to have the exact songs we wanted played during each part of our ceremony. We received so many compliments on how good they were! They were accommodating and professional throughout the entire process. We highly recommend them!

Corda entertainment created the environment for both our ceremony and our cocktail hour. I absolutely loved walking down the aisle to the live song of my choosing, and guests kept telling me how much they loved listening to them play before the ceremony. Both parts outdoors and they had no problems with that. Would highly recommend them, additionally they are budget friendly and very easy to communicate with.

Corda Entertainment made such a special impact on my wedding day! We contracted a string trio to play during our ceremony, and our guests loved it. Corda Entertainment- Lovely Music and Incredible Vendor
We had the string quartet play at our wedding ceremony. They were incredible, Alison (who coordinated everything) was awesome and so helpful. She gave us tips throughout the music selection process, very prompt responses, worked great with our wedding planner and made the overall process so easy. Totally recommend this talented group of musicians to provide beautiful music for any event with the added bonus of a ‘no stress’ vendor.

I am so happy that we chose Corda for our wedding day. We had a strong quartet and the music was absolutely beautiful and really elevated our day. Everyone loved it and it was one of my favorite additions to our wedding. We were able create the list of songs that were played during our ceremony so that it was customized to our day. Alison is super easy to get in touch with throughout the planning process and is always quick to respond. 10/10 recommend Corda Entertainment!

Corda Entertainment provided the ceremony and cocktail hour violin music for my daughter’s wedding. The simplicity and elegance of a single violin complimented the surrounding view and ceremony so beautifully. The entire process of booking along with communication up to the wedding was with the greatest of ease! I cannot more whole-heartedly recommend Corda Entertainment! Absolutely fantastic
We had Frank play the harp for our ceremony and cocktail hour and it was absolutely fantastic. The harp looked awesome (we were getting compliments before he even started) and was electric (which is also awesome), so there were no issues with it being too quiet or anything during the ceremony. Sooo many people told us after how cool it was to have the live music for the ceremony. Would absolutely recommend!

Frank was great to work with. We had a call before the wedding and he had lots of suggestions for the music for the pre wedding, wedding and cocktail hour.
The harp completed our vision of an English Garden Wedding.

Lovely wedding music!
The live music provided by Corda was enchanting! We had a trio (violin, viola, and flute), and it was the perfect balance for our outdoor garden wedding. Their performance added elegance and warmth to our wedding ceremony, and they were helpful in finding the right music for our ceremony. Our wedding was moved from Asheville to Winston-Salem only three weeks before our wedding, and Allison stepped in and pulled everything together with very little notice. She took the music we originally chose and made it fit her trio and added some perfect additions, and she even found sheet music to fit a couple of songs not on their song list that were meaningful to us. They’re highly professional and skilled musicians — we would always recommend them!

Daughter’s Wedding
Corda Entertainment scheduled a quartet to play curated and hand selected pieces for our daughters wedding, two hours they played… the music was so very important for the outside ceremony ( of course it was, it was THE WEDDING😊) and cocktail hour and they were exceptional.

I've always wanted a string quartet to play at my wedding because of how elegant and emotional the music in that medium is delivered. Magical Music!
Corda was awesome to work with and the music was magical! We had a string quartet for our daughters wedding with a soloist and it was beautiful. They worked with us even as we had a slight rain delay! And the jazz band for the cocktail hour was excellent! So much fun!

Simply amazing
Our entire experience with Alison and Córda was pure perfection!! They even learned a special song for our daughter to walk down the aisle. We had Alison on violin and Lauren on the cello and the music was just beautiful!!! Alison provided such quick assistance with any questions and the music selection was amazing for song choices. The couple couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out and our guests are still talking about how lovely the music was! Hire them- you won’t be disappointed!!

Last Minute Ceremony
I contacted Corda two weeks before my wedding for a string quartet or violin player, because our previous ceremony musician fell through. I was responded to within a day and was able to book a violin player a few days after that. Alison was quick to respond and jumped in to work with our church, cantor, and organ player to make sure all music choices were aligned and that the hour long ceremony went off with no issues. We were thrilled to have Corda as one of our musicians and cannot thank them enough for jumping in and saving the day.

Amazing service and performance!
Alison and her team were incredible to work with, coordinate our music and performed beautifully! I would recommend Corda to anyone for a wedding or any kind of performance needed because the quality of their performance was stellar and they were able to play contemporary, classic and sacred music. Wonderful decision
Booking Corda Entertainment for our daughter’s wedding was a real win. The string quartet provided beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour music and we received many compliments on having such beautiful, and different, music during the ceremony. Allison was a joy to work with…always quick to respond, provide great music selection recommendations, and even worked to help time music to perfectly crescendo as our daughter started her walk down the aisle. I, unfortunately, did not have the opportunity to interact personally with the musicians on wedding day but can say they were on time, professional, and even dressed appropriately for a formal wedding. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Corda Entertainment…if you are looking to add lovely live music to your event, Corda is who I would for sure call.

Highly Recommended string quartet
Alison with Corda Entertainment was excellent! My daughter and her fiance had a very specific vision and she helped that vision come to life with their music selections. My only regret is that I could not listen to them during the prelude because I was waiting in another area with the wedding party. They are awesome!

Perfect live music addition
We were beyond pleased with all our interactions with Corda. From planning to day of services they went above and beyond. Corda Entertainment provided excellent music for my daughter's wedding. I was present for a rehearsal and was impressed that they put extra time into their preparation with the vocal soloists and the music I had chosen which was not in their regular repertoire. Beautiful music for our beautiful day
We had a string trio with Corda Entertainment play our ceremony music and it was PERFECT. We were initially unsure if we wanted to invest in live music for our ceremony, but we are here to say it was absolutely 110% worth it, and Corda performed flawlessly, from the prelude to the processional! Alison was so easy to work with and accommodated our changes and song requests. In addition to performing perfectly, the musicians were also incredibly professional and were so flexible (even when we asked them to play at an additional part of the ceremony we originally hadn't discussed!! I feel terrible that we asked so last minute, but they delivered!) Don't hesitate to reach out to them ASAP for your wedding. You will be glad you did!

The Perfect Touch!
We had our Raleigh wedding in June 2021 and could not have asked for a better experience. Through COVID, I think we planned half a dozen different weddings as things kept falling through or changing. We ended up coming to Corda Entertainment fairly close to the event, and they helped us through everything without a hitch. We hired a string duo that was absolutely perfect for our 40 person ceremony and reception. Their prices were very reasonable, and they were even able to add two specific songs for our first dance and recessional for a small fee. The musicians were super skilled and professional day-of, and we got rave reviews from guests about how much the live music added to our experience. I am SO glad we went with Corda Entertainment instead of a DJ - I recommend them to anyone who wants to add that special, romantic, and intimate/personal touch to their event!

The Perfect String Quartet to have for Priceless Moments!
As a retired Professional Ballet Dancer, accustomed to working with live orchestras, I can assure you that Corda Entertainment is excellent in all ways! The quality of their music is exquisite! We had the string quartet come and play various genres of music that ranged from classical, such as Bach, Handel, Campra, Pachelbel, to more contemporary music like Bruno Mars and Coldplay. The tempo and tunes were all perfect. They were all on time and very professional. I couldn't have asked for a better group of artists and musicians to play at our wedding!

Heavenly Harp Music for Reception Cocktail Hour
Because of COVID restrictions I was looking for a cocktail hour musician for my son’s wedding reception who would not require electricity or amplification in case we needed to be outdoors. I contacted Corda Entertainment, which was on the venue’s preferred list, and got a prompt and thorough response to my questions. Repertoire was selected in advance and a payment schedule determined. Our harpist was talented, professional and our guests were delighted! I felt that this service was a very good value and tipped my performer on the day of the event. Thank you so much!!!

They played classical to the Beatles!!!
THRILLED!! We loved our string trio from Corda Entertainment!! We had several guests in attendance who are also string musicians and they had glowing compliments for us to pass along to this group. Our string trio played our ceremony with classical music we chose from their vast list of options. Then they played our cocktail hour which we requested to be upbeat. They played everything from classic jazz to The Beatles and beyond, our guests were thrilled and so were we. 10 out of 10!!

Provided music for wedding
Corda stepped in at the last minute when another vendor let us down. Allison worked with my daughter to make sure the songs were exactly what we wanted. We received so many compliments from our guests! Highly recommend the professionals at Corda. They add elegance to any event.

Perfect Wedding Music
Corda Entertainment did an exceptional job at our daughter's recent wedding. The music was just what we had dreamed of and we've received so many compliments from our guests. The whole process from picking the music to booking and rebooking and rebooking was easy and painless! The office staff was very helpful and accommodating during this crazy time! Corda Entertainment are talented musicians that will provide quality wedding music for your wedding. We planned everything with Alison at Corda Entertainment. She was great work with! We ultimately selected a trio for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The music was perfect and we couldn’t have been happier with the musicians. Wedding ceremony
The musicians from Corda were incredible. I booked a cellist and violinist. They played my daughters selections for her intimate ceremony. It was simply lovely. So pleased!

Perfect Ceremony and Cocktail Hour Music
Corda Entertainment was perfect for our small outdoor wedding! Their music is elegant and smooth and the perfect fit for a romantic and intimate setting. We used Corda Entertainment for our ceremony and cocktail hour music and can't say enough good things! The guests loved that the music was soft and beautiful but not overbearing when trying to mingle with guests during cocktail hour and not to overtake the ceremony! Everything we needed
Corda was perfect for our day. We had to downsize our wedding and postpone, and their team was by our side to step in for the day. Allison was communicative and flexible as we made some last minute decisions regarding music, and everyone raved about how good they sounded.

Wonderful!

Amazing Highly Recommend
I was recommended this company by another strings company for my wedding and Corda did not disappoint. I felt the prices were very fair, and no matter what combination of instruments you choose it will be amazing. The website has many different songs to listen to to get an idea of what you are looking for.
We went with a solo violin for our ceremony and it turned out beautifully. The violinist even helped me(the bride) know my cue for when to walk which was much appreciated since I did not have a coordinator.
Responsiveness through email was very quick and professional, and they even were able to accommodate, what I thought, were some strange song requests!

Great Experience
We had a great experience with Corda, Alison and her team are so prepared, and so professional. We hired them just for ceremony music, two musicians and requested a specific song that they purchased the music rights for. The music went off without a hitch, and was so beautiful.

Alison Lawson and Lauren Shriver were excellent, so very talented. Although we had a few specific song selections, they filled in with some of their favorites. It was perfect. The strings as ceremony music for the wedding were the right choice.

Great people and music!
These guys were great! I feel like the last month of planning we really spent a ton of time on the phone with them so that we were able to get EXACTLY what we wanted. Even though they didn't have the song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to initially, they were able to make it happen for us which was super impressive!

Always Outstanding
Corda has performed the wedding ceremony for two of my daughters.....once in 2012, and most recently in August of 2019. Both times their performance was outstanding and we couldn't have asked for a better musical addition on such special occasions.
Corda is extremely easy to work with and Alison Lawson guided us through the process of finalizing the ceremony details and met our expectations.
Definitely will consider them again when our third daughter gets married.

Vow Renewal
