Lisa was our Day of Coordinator for our wedding in Leicester. From day 0, while we were still looking for a DOC, she made us feel so comfortable and heard. We knew we could trust her to listen to us and do an amazing job. We had monthly calls with her even though she was the DOC. She gave amazing support, feedback and suggestions throughout the whole process. We planned our wedding ourselves so every time we talked to her we felt 10x better about our progress. On the day of and during the rehearsal, she was 100% on it and got the group focused. I know on the day of the wedding, she took care of so much. We don’t even imagine the day without her. Our whole wedding day went smoothly and we knew we could relax with her there. My only regret is not working with her more as our wedding planner. Lisa is amazing!!!

Early on in the process, Lisa had established herself as the voice of reason. She kept us calm and reminded us of details we hadn't even considered. My daughter's wedding was days after Hurricane Helene. After the storm, Lisa's professionalism and can-do attitude totally saved the day. We ended up changing the venue at the last minute. Lisa made it all possible and did it with a smile.

From day one, Lisa listened to everything we wanted and was such a joy to work with. She is professional and goes above and beyond. Lisa was our Day of Coordinator but we’d have calls with her once a month. These calls really carried us through the wedding planning. We’d just update her on the process and she’d give us helpful feedback and encouragement. We’d always leave these calls feeling like a million bucks. Leading up to the wedding she reached out to all our vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page. When our vendors (venue, caterer, DJ, baker, etc) heard we were working with her, they were audibly excited. Lisa made the rehearsal and wedding day a breeze! Our wedding was beautiful and so much fun. I’m truly sad our wedding is over and we won’t get to work with her anymore.

Lisa was the wedding consultant for my daughter's destination wedding in Lake Lure, NC. Lisa was nothing but knowledgeable, professional and amazing to work with. Being out of town, we depended on her and her expertise of doing other weddings at Lake Lure. We would highly recommend Lisa as she made every step of this journey that more perfect and worry free.

I was completely overwhelmed trying to plan our wedding in Asheville while living almost 6 hours away. I found Lisa McMillan and Exquisite events planning online and what a game changer!! She quickly sent me options for all of the vendors I had not yet chosen and was very attentive to making sure I had all of my questions answered while also bringing up questions I hadn't even thought of! Not only was she amazing during the planning process but to say we were impressed on the weekend of would be an understatement!! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up perfectly and we didn't have to worry about a single thing! Lisa was a life-saver for my wedding. I had no idea what I was doing, and my mom was overwhelmed trying to deal with it all. In comes Lisa. She is such a special person who cares for you - not just for the bottom line. I feel like Lisa became a part of our family, and I truly hope we are able to stay in touch and continue our friendship. Even in the midst of personal tragedy for her and her family, Lisa went the extra mile. She was always there for us and wanted to make sure we felt comfortable and ready to go. Lisa goes above and beyond in everything she does. She comes to every meeting with a positive attitude and smile on her face. In even the most stressful situations, Lisa was a calming presence. I could not recommend Lisa enough! She is not only great at what she does, but is an amazing person. We were blessed to have Lisa play a key role in our big day!

100% would get married again just to be able to work with Lisa!! We hired Lisa as our day of coordinator for our wedding and everything could not have gone smoother. She is sunshine in a bottle and I would trust her with every and any task, big or small, she gets it done. She continued to surprise us every time we talked to her leading up to the big day.
