Facilities and Capacity
This beautifully renovated historic inn opens up first to the Grand Lobby. Brimming with antiques and framed by stained glass windows, this room boasts stunning original features making it ideal for hosting an extravagant buffet or cocktail hour. The most popular ceremony and reception area is a combination of the Veranda Terrace, Tanner Dining Room, and the Lakeside Gazebo. The Veranda Terrace is a Mediterranean-inspired outdoor setting situated on the foot of the soaring mountains making it the perfect spot for a ceremony, cocktail hour, and taking beautiful wedding photos. Accommodating 75 to 200 guests is the elegant Tanner Dining Room, where you and your loved ones can punctuate the day with a mouthwatering feast. Alternatively, Dirty Dancing fans may instead opt for the Roosevelt Hall, which was originally used for filming scenes in the movie. Furnished with exquisite hardwood floors and eight twinkling chandeliers, this luxurious space can host intimate gatherings of up to 75. Last but not least, the Lakeside Gazebo is a beautiful, six-sided open-air gazebo that offers a majestic setting for a one-of-a-kind ceremony with incredible mountain views.

Lake Lure Inn and Spa was the best decision ever!
Thankfully, Lake Lure showed up as an option, and boy was this the best decision we made.
If you are looking for amazing views of the mountain and a lake combined, Lake Lure is the place.
If you are looking for a place that is sober, elegant and old. Lake Lure is the perfect place to be. Not only did it host a former president but the structure and decoration resembles that of an old mansion or Hotel of the 20th century. You will feel as if you had stepped back in time.
I had no idea what a wedding planner really needed to do. So when I said: "I can do that" I did not know what I was saying. But Christopher, the events manager and the whole personnel at the Inn guided me and my daughter, in order to have the best wedding and family experience ever.
The whole family was simply enchanted by the place and the surroundings and with its history as well. Whether you are looking for a place, Biltmore looking like or, if you are looking to get the "Dirty Dancing/ Patrick Swayze/ Jennifer Grey" vibes. Lake Lure Inn and Spa has it.
So if you are looking into Lake Lure for a wedding venue you will love it forever.

This has to be the best all-inclusive venue in the Asheville and Western North Carolina area. With a beautiful outdoor site for ceremonies, separate spaces for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, it is set up perfectly for weddings and receptions. Everything you need is on property - a salon for hair and makeup, a place to get dressed, transportation, even tables, chairs, and linens. They also have some great options in case of bad weather. The food is excellent-no rubber chicken here! But the best part of working with the Lake Lure Inn is that each and every member of the staff is dedicated to making sure you and your guests have a most amazing experience.

The 1927 was one of the most beautiful venues I've had the opportunity to shoot photography at. The resort sits overlooking a gorgeous mountainside, with a body of water right across the street with gorgeous docks. I also can't say enough about how awesome the staff was, they were so genuine and accommodating, and I was just the photographer! Would love to shoot there again!
