We had our wedding at the veranda/pool site at the Lake Lure Inn and it was absolutely amazing. Not only are the views amazing, but the Inn staff was amazing. Leigh was our events coordinator and made the planning so stress-free. She was very responsive to questions and so detail oriented. Words cannot describe how thankful we are that we had her there to help us during the planning stage and on the wedding day. She is truly a joy to work with! We were between two venues, the Inn being one of them. The other place did not offer an events coordinator. The friendliness and location that the Inn provided during our venue search were ultimately the reasons we picked the Inn. It is convenient for guests and the wedding party. It had everything we needed - the salon, the rooms, a separate room for the bride to get ready in, the catering (with GREAT food) and bar services. I would recommend the Inn to anyone, with no negative points to mention.Sent on 05/31/2016

Beautiful and Romantic
I fell in love with this place as soon as I went for a tour. It was the perfect setting for our wedding - mountains, lake, a romantic venue, and bonus- dog friendly! But mostly, I can't speak more highly of the people who work here. They were unbelievably nice and patient with not only me, but my entire wedding guest list. The food was delicious ALL weekend--seriously SO GOOD! I worked directly with Allyssa, and she was AMAZING. She was so easy to work with and our weekend was completed on schedule! Fantastic venue!Sent on 12/02/2018

Wouldn't Change a Single Thing!
I do not know where to start. My wife and I were married at the 1927 Lake Lure Inn about a week and a half ago. I should start at the beginning. Allyssa is amazing! We couldn't have asked for anyone better! She was always available to answer any question we had. Our guest count literally doubled and she handled it like it was no big deal. She was a lot of fun during our tasting and planning session and was also very knowledgeable about what would be good for our wedding. Now the wedding itself was amazing! Every single person on the staff was incredibly nice, mind blowing nice! They were always there to help and always kept my drink full! They helped us with whatever setting up we had and requests on the day of the wedding. The hotel itself is really great and only adds to however you decide to decorate. The rooms are also clean and nicely decorated. All of our guests that stayed the night loved it! We couldn't have asked for one single thing different or better. Everything was absolutely perfect!Sent on 11/13/2018

This has to be the best all-inclusive venue in the Asheville and Western North Carolina area. With a beautiful outdoor site for ceremonies, separate spaces for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, it is set up perfectly for weddings and receptions. Everything you need is on property - a salon for hair and makeup, a place to get dressed, transportation, even tables, chairs, and linens. They also have some great options in case of bad weather. The food is excellent-no rubber chicken here! But the best part of working with the Lake Lure Inn is that each and every member of the staff is dedicated to making sure you and your guests have a most amazing experience.
A truly beautiful hey truly beautiful and historic venue nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina
The 1927 was one of the most beautiful venues I've had the opportunity to shoot photography at. The resort sits overlooking a gorgeous mountainside, with a body of water right across the street with gorgeous docks. I also can't say enough about how awesome the staff was, they were so genuine and accommodating, and I was just the photographer! Would love to shoot there again!
