"Through my business, Desiree's Custom Sewing, for the past 35 years as a wedding dress alterations specialist and former wedding dressmaker designer... I've been helping brides look 'picture perfect' for their wedding day.

But because of Covid and the fact I have a home-based business... I've had to pivot the focus of my business. So I made the difficult decision to no longer perform any sewing or alteration services.

As a bridal alterations specialist I saw my share of brides who had wedding dress regrets over their choice. To fix the problem required a lot more alterations than normal, which was costly. Others had to start all over by buying another dress, settling for a dress that wasn't exactly their dreams. Again... very costly in time and money!
