Seriously, Abby provided me with the best experience ever. Super helpful when finding a dress that looked perfect on me. I had a set design and fit in my mind until they had me try on the most gorgeous ball gowns EVER, my whole idea of a wedding dressed changed right then. The fact that they took the time to specifically pick out options based on what details were important to me and hit the nail on the head, blew me out of the water. The champagne was definitely a plus - Truly felt like I was being catered to the entire time! THANK YOU ABBY - I'M DYING TO GET BACK THERE AND PUT MY DRESS ON AGAIN!

The single most compliment I received at my wedding was how beautiful my dress was. I am still so in love with my dress thanks to Pure English, Maya and Anzen! Maya is the owner and she made sure everything I needed for my wedding day attire was achieved. Anzen altered my dress to perfection and constantly provided support when I was stressed out. These ladies know what they are doing, and truly have the most gorgeous dresses to choose from. Go to Pure English, or any of her 4 other stores! I also got my bridesmaid's, mother's dress and earrings from Pure English. I was so happy with everything.

Going to Pure English was an incredible experience. The staff and inventory far exceeded any other gown store I had been too. Maya, the owner, was extremely patient and allowed me to try on almost every dress in the store! As someone with body issues, her positivity allowed for me to feel like a princess in every single dress I stepped out of the fitting room in.

Oh! And did I mention .. They provide you with wine to ease the nerves!!

The ladies at Pure English really go above and beyond! After going to nine! other bridal stores I kept going back to a dress I'd seen online. I called all the stores in the Virginia/Maryland/DC/North Carolina area that carried the brand and no one had the specific style. Typically when I called they'd check, say no, and that was it. With Pure English they immediately offered to contact the designer to see if they could get a sample. No one else did this! They were able to quickly procure the sample and I made my way down to VA Beach. I loved the dress immediately. I'm so thankful for the amazing customer service at Pure English. Without them who knows what I would have worn, after nine stores and zero dresses I liked things were looking dire. Thank you!!

I honestly tried on 100 dresses before coming to Pure English Bridal and finding my Mikaella gown. It was absolutely beautiful, simple and elegant. After alterations, it fit me like a glove and confirmed that I made the right decision. The staff are super friendly and helpful and made dress shopping fun! I love how I felt in my gown on my wedding day!

I bought my wedding dress at Pure English earlier this year. The girls were so helpful in helping me to narrow down my choices. I loved their professional and personal input. I ordered my dress. It came in last month and I had my first "try on" - it was as beautiful as I remember. I found a few accessories to go with it and ordered them. I'll go back for my final fitting right before my wedding.

Made my appt and Elaine emailed me to brainstorm ideas on pinterest. Go for the Hayley Paige gowns, but stay for the amazing service! I'll be going back for their trunk show in October

I went to four different dress stores in search of the perfect wedding dress (I like to be thorough). Pure English was by far the best of the bunch. Kate was amazing- she made me feel very comfortable (important for someone who is seeing you half naked!) and was very good at helping me figure out what I wanted and what I did not want in a dress. Pure English has the best selection of dresses that I've seen- I was able to try on way more dresses there than anywhere else. Most of the other stores had one or two dresses that I kind of liked after I had tried them on- there were four dresses at Pure English that I could have easily seen myself getting married in. It was difficult to narrow down!

The prices at Pure English do seem slightly higher than some other stores, but they do carry a range of prices and the gowns seem to be of a higher quality than elsewhere. Plus, the overall experience was the best I had at any of the shops I went to.

One of the things that we were initially really concerned about was getting my dress in and altered before my wedding in October. 6 months is kind of a short time frame, wedding-wise, and a different shop said that while they could get the dress in time, there was no way that they would have time to alter it in-house and I would just have to hope that an alterations person in the area would have time to do it (which was a really worrying prospect). Pure English, however, has assured us that they will be able to do the alterations in house with no problem. As Kate said, that's what they're there for- to help me get my dress and be ready for my wedding day.

I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone else (and Kate as well- I'm sure the other people who work there are fantastic, but she's the one I worked with and I really liked her)!
