Kayla and the Clockwork Events & Design team excelled beyond our expectations. Originally we had not planned on hiring a wedding planner but when Covid shutdowns began we knew we needed one. After numerous planner interviews, Kayla fit with both my daughter and I. Kayla worked tirelessly renegotiating all of our vendor contracts. She had just the right touch with balancing our needs and vendor needs at a very stressful time for the industry. She was very thorough and had our back through the whole process. Our venue based wedding for 2020 flipped to a small backyard celebration with the large reception in 2021. Kayla has many vendor relationships and was able to quickly plan the backyard wedding. All the rewritten contracts meant the 2021 reception went smoothly. Both events were beautiful and well executed. Any little mishaps or questions that came up during the events, Kayla quickly handled so that I could relax and celebrate my daughter and son-in-law. Thank you Kayla and Clockwork Designs! I really cannot say enough good things about Kayla and the Clockwork team! My first piece of advice to anyone who is recently engaged is to budget in for a wedding planner. She is worth every penny. We had to completely change our wedding due to covid but Kayla still made sure we had the most amazing day. She took any stress she could off of the us so we could just enjoy the weekend. She had back up plans and meetings coordinated so we didn't have to worry about it. She looked at me before and said "something will go wrong but my job is that you will never know it."

Every vendor she recommended to us was incredible and I would use them all again!

We couldn’t be more grateful for Clockwork Events & Design! Kayla & Team went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding went off beautifully! We found Kayla early in the process after being recommended by multiple vendors. We consulted with her a few times early in the year and her willingness to help was first class. 4 months out from our wedding, we faced some very challenging decisions regarding the location of our wedding due to Covid Restrictions and ultimately decided to relocate the whole thing from NC to SC. Kayla helped us manage the pivot of all of our vendors and made sure that no detail was missed.

In the month prior, Kayla assisted with many things that weren’t in her contract just because that’s the kind of wedding planner she is. She not only became our friend through the process, but a part of our family.

We pulled off the most amazing wedding—in the middle of a HURRICANE—during the most challenging season I’m sure many planners have seen during their careers and couldn’t have done it without Team Clockwork. We are so very grateful and highly recommend to anyone planning an event!

Kayla and her team went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Our day lasted from 6am to 10pm, and they were there from start to finish. We didn’t have to worry about any of the technical issues, and could just relax and enjoy our day knowing that we had Clockwork to help. Kayla has a wealth of knowledge about the Charlotte area, anything from venues down to little details we never considered. She helped guide us through the process, and made our wedding planning much less stressful. Couldn’t imagine the day without the team!

When first searching for a wedding planner I was trying to find someone who would not only do a good job, but was also someone that I liked being around and enjoyed talking to. Kayla was exactly that person. From our first conversation, I felt comfortable around her and expressing exactly what I envisioned for my wedding. Kayla went ABOVE AND BEYOND throughout the entire process and truly made our day spectacular. My makeup artist kept saying how calm I was on my wedding day. This was because of Kayla. And because I knew we were in good hands, I was able to truly relax and enjoy every moment of our day. To me, that is priceless.

Kayla and the Clockwork Events & Design team went above and beyond to cover every detail about our wedding and keep us updated and informed during the entire process. She put us in touch with other Charlotte vendors who proved to be excellent at what they did as well. Her knowledge of all things wedding/event related as well as responsibilities and expectations of other vendors offered my now wife and I a much-appreciated sense of security and comfort. When the time came for our big day, we both felt surprisingly calm thanks in large part to Kayla and the Clockwork team. Knowing they had our backs is a feeling you can’t put a price on. I'm almost 6 months late writing this review but what better way to remember my wedding day than raving about Clockwork. Everything from the weeks before to the day of was magical. Kayla and her team did everything they possibly could to make this the best day of my life. It rained 5 minutes before walking down the aisle and was freezing cold but I knew with Kayla the ceremony would stay right where I wanted it. I watched her team and others sprint to the ceremony site to wipe off chairs and I knew everything would be okay. Kayla pays attention to every detail making sure it is exactly what you want. I couldn't say more about Kayla and Clockwork. If you are looking for someone to make your special day super special look no further than Clockwork because all your dreams will come true.
