We couldn’t be more grateful for Clockwork Events & Design! Kayla & Team went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding went off beautifully! We found Kayla early in the process after being recommended by multiple vendors. We consulted with her a few times early in the year and her willingness to help was first class. 4 months out from our wedding, we faced some very challenging decisions regarding the location of our wedding due to Covid Restrictions and ultimately decided to relocate the whole thing from NC to SC. Kayla helped us manage the pivot of all of our vendors and made sure that no detail was missed.
In the month prior, Kayla assisted with many things that weren’t in her contract just because that’s the kind of wedding planner she is. She not only became our friend through the process, but a part of our family.
We pulled off the most amazing wedding—in the middle of a HURRICANE—during the most challenging season I’m sure many planners have seen during their careers and couldn’t have done it without Team Clockwork. We are so very grateful and highly recommend to anyone planning an event!

Excellent service
Kayla and her team went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Our day lasted from 6am to 10pm, and they were there from start to finish. We didn’t have to worry about any of the technical issues, and could just relax and enjoy our day knowing that we had Clockwork to help. Kayla has a wealth of knowledge about the Charlotte area, anything from venues down to little details we never considered. She helped guide us through the process, and made our wedding planning much less stressful. Couldn’t imagine the day without the team! -

When first searching for a wedding planner I was trying to find someone who would not only do a good job, but was also someone that I liked being around and enjoyed talking to. Kayla was exactly that person. From our first conversation, I felt comfortable around her and expressing exactly what I envisioned for my wedding. Kayla went ABOVE AND BEYOND throughout the entire process and truly made our day spectacular. My makeup artist kept saying how calm I was on my wedding day. This was because of Kayla. And because I knew we were in good hands, I was able to truly relax and enjoy every moment of our day. To me, that is priceless. -

Kayla and the Clockwork Events & Design team went above and beyond to cover every detail about our wedding and keep us updated and informed during the entire process. She put us in touch with other Charlotte vendors who proved to be excellent at what they did as well. Her knowledge of all things wedding/event related as well as responsibilities and expectations of other vendors offered my now wife and I a much-appreciated sense of security and comfort. When the time came for our big day, we both felt surprisingly calm thanks in large part to Kayla and the Clockwork team. Knowing they had our backs is a feeling you can’t put a price on. Thanks again to Kayla and the Clockwork Team for making our wedding day beyond perfect!!! -

And I didn't think I needed a Coordinator! Kayla took over about six weeks from the date of my daughter's wedding. From our first meeting, she opened my eyes to so many details I wouldn't have thought of and I knew it was a "no-brainer" to hire her for us to experience our perfect day! She took over all the logistics and kept a very cool head when the weather was stressing everyone out! She paid attention to every detail we had planned and pulled off exactly what we envisioned. Kayla and her team are very talented, professional and bring the sunshine when you don't think there's a chance of it! We had the best day and it's definitely due to the hard work Kayla puts in to make sure the bride, groom and families experience a very special day to remember. -

User2235843 Sent on 07/21/2015Kayla of Clockwork Event and Designs is an excellent wedding coordinator. Mike and I hired Kayla for our month-of coordinator to “mend the end”. I was hesitant handing over our wedding to someone else, but after we lost our ceremony venue it seemed necessary. Fortunately, Kayla’s friendly personality and strong organization skills made the transition easy. She worked seamlessly with our other amazing vendors, and motivated the others. She worked around our work schedules, and was always available to us. It was like having a best friend and cheerleader at all of our final appointments. Kayla truly handled our wedding rehearsal and day with grace. A fire alarm went off during our cocktail hour, and Kayla directed guests and hotel staff with poise. She ensured that hiccups did not reach our radar, and we were able to focus on what was most important: the start of our marriage. Our guests continue to compliment us on the wedding (two months after the event!), and Kayla is to thank. Her commitment to us – strangers she had met only six weeks prior – and our wedding was amazing. We cannot thank nor recommend her enough.
