We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Baltimore’s Premier Event Solutions for our daughter’s wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.

From the very beginning, Nick and Julia were wonderful to work with. All of the arrangements we made for the pipe and drape and uplighting were handled professionally and seamlessly. The lighting and draping completely transformed the museum and gave the space an entirely different feel. They helped create the beautiful atmosphere our daughter had envisioned for her wedding and truly brought her vision to life.

But one of the greatest things about working with Baltimore’s Premier Event Solutions was that they introduced us to our DJ, Marcus Munroe. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Marcus. He was absolutely fantastic!

Marcus was professional, personable, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to understand exactly what our daughter and her fiancé wanted. Our daughter had recorded a song herself that she wanted played during the father daughter dance, and she had also edited the music for their first dance. Marcus incorporated both seamlessly into the evening, making those special moments even more personal and meaningful.

What impressed us most was how seamlessly Marcus handled the entire evening. He moved effortlessly from the ceremony to cocktail hour, through dinner, and into the reception. And the music was everything we could have hoped for. He went from musical theater to big band, to ’70s and ’80s, ’90s love songs, and modern dance music, all while keeping the energy of the room exactly where it needed to be.

The dance floor was packed all night! Marcus not only kept everyone dancing, but he actually came out onto the dance floor and taught our guests some dances, which was such a fun and memorable part of the evening.

We absolutely loved working with Baltimore’s Premier Event Solutions and could not be more grateful for everything they did to make the wedding so special. And Marcus Munroe was truly outstanding. We would recommend him without hesitation for a wedding, bar or bat mitzvah, or any celebration where you want the music and energy to be fantastic.

We booked Korey with a K for our wedding - he exceeded all of our expectations. Two things stood out: (1) professionalism/organization; (2) Performance/"reading the room". Book with absolute confidence - his energy and performance truly elevated the evening.

Professionalism/organization: Prior to our wedding, Korey reached out (twice - approx. 1 hour phone calls) and thoroughly discussed the evening. The discussions were extremely helpful, and frankly the discussions assisted us in actually organizing the evening. He was extremely professional, reassuring and energetic on the phone. It was clear from our conversations that Korey has a lot of experience with weddings and that he genuinely cares about making the event special.

Performance/"reading the room": My only concern regarding Korey had more to do with the attendees rather than him personally. Our wedding was formal and a large amount of the attendees could be described as a bit stiff/conservative (i.e., not fans of profane/contemporary music) and I was concerned that Korey might play music that would be off-putting to older attendees - Korey's ability to read the room while also keep energy levels high is beyond anything I've personally experienced. His music selection/transitions had everyone dancing from the first song and the floor was filled until the event ended. You're booking a genuine DJ - transitions were smooth/mixes injected energy - he's definitely not a "playlist/spotify" DJ.

We wish him nothing but future success. 5/5, A++, fully satisfied, 100% recommend, etc. Book with absolute confidence. Several of the guests asked for his contact information. He geniunely elevated the evening.

From our very first phone call, through booking, planning, and even last-minute additions, Korey was professional, attentive, flexible, and absolutely amazing to work with. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly what you want while still keeping the entire process light and fun.

He absolutely nailed the attention to detail and kept the dance floor moving all night long! The level of preparation and professionalism that Korey WITH A K showed needs to be studied. The saying “(fill in the blank) is a natural” probably has his face or his shin as the picture example. He set up phone calls well ahead of time to discuss what songs me and my now wife wanted to play. He listened to everything we had to say and offered suggestions when we weren’t exactly sure what to do or how to transition from event to event. I come from a fully Sicilian family and they don’t approve of anyone or anything very quickly. The amount of people who came up to me wedding night asking “Who’s the DJ? He’s incredible”, “Where did you find your DJ he’s top tier”. 1998 and younger would describe him as “Fire 🔥”.

If you want to hire someone for any event whether it be a wedding or a quinceañera Korey WITH A K is undoubtedly going to not only check off every box or list item you could come up with, people will talk about his performance for years.
