Every member of the catering staff is helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure our guests were comfortable and taken care of. The team makes the process of selecting your food, tasting, and confirming final headcount easy and stress-free. The food is tasty and is well-worth the value. Adelaide is one of the BEST VENDORS you will ever work with - she is organized, professional, kind, and knowledgeable. To give one example, when another vendor sent over a lopsided wedding cake on the day of the event, she fully re-frosted and re-deisgned the cake so that we could have our cake cutting ceremony. Absolutely incredible service. We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that you use Zeffert & Gold for any event.

We had to cancel our catering due to unforeseen circumstances, but working with Zeffert and Gold was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their communication was prompt, professional, and incredibly thoughtful at every step. The selection of food they offered was outstanding, with creative menu options. They were flexible with our evolving plans, quick to answer questions, and went above and beyond to help us design a menu that felt personal and special. Even when we had to cancel, they handled everything with kindness and grace, which speaks volumes about their character and commitment to their clients. We loved working with Zeffert & Gold! Our guests were so impressed by all the food at our wedding. Everything was delicious. Our tasting was delicious, but it was about 9 months before our wedding so we were unsure if the food would be as good as we remembered, but it was better! We had guests chasing down servers for their favorite small bites at cocktail hour and waiting for refills of the mini desserts. Adelaide was a pleasure to work with and she made all our visions come to life.

We never write reviews, but we absolutely cannot thank Z&G enough for all that they did for our wedding. Our wedding planner was clearly out of her depth, but the Z&G staff stepped in and helped with setting up the reception space, breaking everything down at the end, and taking care of us the whole night. Matt, Victor and Lisa were professional and made sure we were having the best time. Our guests commented on how this was the best wedding food they’ve ever had and on the friendliness of the staff. We are so grateful for Z&G and could not recommend them more!

This caterer is expensive (we paid ~$180 per head for cocktail hour, three stations, open bar, and dessert parfaits) but if you can afford it, they are totally worth it. Adelaide is easy to work with and responsive, the food was absolutely delicious and very varied for a wedding, and all of the staff is extremely professional. Additionally, they go above and beyond for the bride and groom including having one waiter assigned directly to the bride and groom, serving the bride and groom first, and checking in throughout the night. Finally, they saved us with other vendors as our DJ pulled a no-show at the last minute and Adelaide called through her connections to find us a new DJ who was at our venue within 15 minutes which delayed only caused a delay of less than 30 minutes total.

It was a pleasure to work with Elaine and Kim at Zeffert & Gold to execute our Indian fusion wedding at VisArts in Rockville, MD. They were a collaborative partner with our other caterer, IndAroma, and helped us design and execute on a beautiful fusion buffet concept. They were creative and accommodating in coming up with floor plans that helped bring our event to life in unique spaces. The buffet presentation was beautiful, and we felt confident going into our day that they understood our goals and could manage any challenge.

Lisa and her team made everything seamless. We got so many complements from our wedding guests on the food and the friendliness of their staff. Would recommend them to anyone. 100% worth it.

Adelaide and the Zeffert and Gold team are amazing. Not only was the food delicious and the service stellar, but putting together a wedding menu was absolutely fun and I was confident they would knock it out of the park and they did. If you don't want to have worries about your wedding food or beverage service, hire them. They are the experts. We even had a snafu with some signage we expected someone else to make and two days before the wedding Adelaide made beautiful signage for us. Several of our guests mentioned the food was the best wedding food they had ever had. They took special care to make sure my now husband and I got to eat, drink and enjoy the food and drink at our wedding, too. They greeted us immediately after we walked down the aisle with glasses of prosecco and a plate of appetizers. They had our signature cocktails waiting for us in the bridal suite. They assigned two staff members to check on us throughout the evening, making sure we had the food we wanted. A lot of brides and grooms don't have time to eat at their weddings. The team at Zeffert and Gold made sure we did. At the end of the night, they provided us with takeout containers with leftovers of almost all the food options. We got to enjoy the wedding food for days after our wedding! It was really special. Adelaide is great and will steer you right. Definitely get the Berger Cookie cheesecake bites for dessert and the chicken & waffle appetizers. The team at Zeffert & Gold was absolutely amazing to work with. Throughout the process, they were extremely responsive, helpful with larger picture wedding planning questions, and impressively accommodating about our own and our guests’ long list of dietary restrictions, putting us at ease about one of the biggest components of our wedding. My partner and I both pride ourselves on being foodies, and it was important for us to make sure we had excellent food without breaking the bank. Zeffert & Gold stepped right in, and so many of our guests have continued to compliment how good the food was. All their team members, all the way to the bartenders and serving staff were very fun, yet professional and efficient. I’m already brainstorming if we have another upcoming event that we can possibly cater with Zeffert & Gold for!
