Zeffert & Gold was everything you could want for wedding catering. They handled everything for us - appetizers, dinner, drinks, linens and incredible service. From the initial call we had with Lisa, I could tell how organized and easy to work with they would be. She helped us when we wanted suggestions along the way, but they were great about making customizations and changes when we wanted to as well. We have gotten the most compliments around the food, drinks and catering service out of all of the parts of our wedding! Everything ran so smooth and all of the staff was friendly and so caring towards us. Highly recommend!

Selecting Z&G as my caterer was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! From the beginning, the team was super responsive and took the time to understand my vision and in turn, let me know what was feasible. Their food is phenomenal, so many of my guests let me know how much they enjoyed it. One of my more particular friends said it was the most he has ever eaten at a wedding because the food was that good! They really do a great job of towing the line between approachable & creative--which was great for my guest mixture of foodies & more basic palettes. Lisa is/was my personal savior, and I don't know how I would've made it through so many different points of the planning process without her guidance. I honestly can't recommend the Z&G team enough--they are truly much more than a catering team!

The beginning of our planning process demonstrated from the onset why Z&G are the best in the business. They responded exceptionally quickly to inquiries, answered questions and customized a full wedding proposal within hours to days. Their transparent pricing showed exactly where all of our money was going to ensure we knew exactly what we were paying for. Planning our tasting was also a breeze, and the tasting itself was a fantastic experience to get to meet the team and be pampered for a day. While deciding on linens, Z&G were patient and flexible with all of our tweaks and last-minute changes. We never felt like a burden with Z&G and they ensured us they wanted to make the wedding we wanted to happen, happen.

On the day itself, the set up of the venue was exactly as discussed and looked incredible, with fantastic spacing throughout and no attention to detail spared. Z+G’s diversity of linen options allowed us to be playful with colors and bring our vision to life.

Without all of that, the quality of their food speaks for itself. Multiple guests asked me after our wedding to inquire about recipes and sourcing options for some of the appetizer options, and every single guest raved about the quality of their plated meal. Z+G expertly catered a 170+ person plated dinner event with delicious, hot, food for every guest.

Finally, and most importantly, the friendliness of the staff and quality of service was absolutely top notch. As the bride and groom, we wanted for nothing the entire evening. Z&G not only quickly provided anything we asked for, but anticipated needs that we didn’t even know that we had. Every guest was treated similarly - with multiple of our friends and family saying that individual staff members went above and beyond to ensure they were well fed, hydrated, and happy with everything provided. The service team also brought immaculate vibes and personality to match our wedding: complimenting people’s outfits, dancing along with the music as they work, and simply being joyful throughout the evening helped to reinforce the fun and colorful wedding that we wanted to have.

I would not hesitate to recommend Z&G to anyone planning their wedding, and will gladly use them again for any future event that we have in the area.

Would 10/10 recommend. We had a party at the science center in Baltimore 3/7. Apps were on point, dinner was spectacular and dessert was great. We even had a late night snack that guests raved about. The food was great and we had many compliments. Lisa was amazing to work with!!

We loved working with Zeffert & Gold! Our guests were so impressed by all the food at our wedding. Everything was delicious. Our tasting was delicious, but it was about 9 months before our wedding so we were unsure if the food would be as good as we remembered, but it was better! We had guests chasing down servers for their favorite small bites at cocktail hour and waiting for refills of the mini desserts. Adelaide was a pleasure to work with and she made all our visions come to life.
