If I could give 10 starts I would!!! I can't recommend using catering by uptown enough. From the first visit and meeting with Anne, to the end of our wedding, CBU was top notch! We had to reschedule and replan through the COVID pandemic. I heard horror stories about other venues who were not working with couples, and really leaving them in the dark. This was the exact oppostie of what we experienced. They took time to answer all of my questions, worked with me on the guest list and changes and found a new date that worked for us. When I say it was perfect- our day truly was perfect. Cassidy was the absolute best planner, and day of coordinator EVER... seriously EVER!!! She and the whole staff were so helpful supportive and they ran the show! Look no further- you have found your perfect wedding venue- I can't thank the whole team at Catering by Uptown enough, especially Anne and Cassidy (who I worked with the most). You made our day the best ever! Love you all- thank you for EVERYTHING!!!!

We picked this venue for the picturesque ceremony views and to avoid decision fatigue from going a more DIY route. Celebrations at the Bay was a lovely all-inclusive choice. They have killer views and good flow from space to space. Our guests enjoyed being able to hang out on the pier when they needed fresh air. The caterers were willing to create passed hors d'oeuvres that gave a nod to our cultural background and the food and cake was delicious on the day. They were also on point with all our guest’s dietary restrictions. We didn't need many decor choices either, as the venue is beautiful and they have some standard decor options for the reception.

We recently had our wedding at Celebrations at the Bay (Chesapeake Ballroom) and couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our special day. The Chesapeake Ballroom exudes elegance and charm, providing a beautiful backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. The planning process was incredibly smooth and stress-free, thanks to the amazing team at Celebrations at the Bay. Zoe and Randy, our planner and day-of coordinator provided by the venue, were absolute gems. They were attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of. Their expertise and professionalism made the entire experience enjoyable and worry-free. The catering provided by Catering by Uptown was outstanding. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how amazing the meal was, and the open bar was a hit with everyone. Additionally, the selection of table settings, linens, and decorations offered by the venue allowed us to personalize our event and create the atmosphere we envisioned. Celebrations at the Bay truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. Special mention must be made of the staff who worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ran smoothly. They were exceptional, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure that all of our guests were taken care of. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than the Chesapeake Ballroom. It exceeded all of our expectations, and we're so grateful to everyone who played a part in making our day so special. If you're looking for a venue that combines elegance, excellent service, and amazing food, look no further than the Chesapeake Ballroom. Highly recommended!
