100% recommend! We did a private event at Bluepit BBQ the day after our wedding for ~60 people, and it was absolutely incredible. We got rave reviews, and had the best time. We wanted a space that felt sort of like a brewery - picnic tables, drinks, chill vibes - and this place could not have been more perfect. The cocktails (and mocktails) are insanely good, the food is so tasty (and naturally gluten free + jackfruit options for vegans), and the vibe is great. Also Cara is incredible to work with, and very quickly became one of our favorite people. Thank you Blue pit BBQ!

My finance and I were about to call it quits on planning a wedding for 100 guests. After 8 visits to other venues that felt overpriced and too heavy of a planning haul, we scheduled a time to visit Gertrudes as a last ditch effort. We were instantly impressed with Emily, the venue coordinator. Throughout the whole process she answered questions promptly and directly. Gertrudes food and drink pricing was very competitive to other catering proposals I had received for other venues. The menu options were varied to meet many different preferences and dietary restrictions. Our wedding day came, and it was more magical than we could have imagined. We opted to have our wedding in the Lower Wurtzburger Sculpture Gardens for an extra fee, it was beautiful. Our guests were commenting on the fantastic level of service they received by the staff. The ceremony flowed into a lovely outdoor cocktail hour. I could not believe my eyes at the beauty of the dining room during dinner. The low twinkling lights, and intimate seating was beautiful and romantic. Finally, we closed out dancing in the tent and everyone had a blast. I was relieved that Gertrude's by default has a sort of "wedding layout or process", meaning there was a limited amount of decisions I had to make in the planning process. Gertrudes takes care of so many things. If I had a wedding again, there is NO QUESTION I would book at Gertrudes again. Photos by A&M Photography

We were struggling to find a venue that was affordable, accessible from where we live, close to hotels, was beautiful enough for a wedding and offered food and drink together. Level went above and beyond our expectations. The owner was so helpful in all steps of the process, the character of restaurant was amazing (he even agreed to leave up Christmas decor for us!), the food was wonderful, the location is right across from multiple hotels, we could bring our own wedding cakes, and best of all the bar was AMAZING! Our total bill with open bar and so much food was SO much more reasonable than any other venue we looked at. Plus we were able to book with only 5 months notice which was huge. 110% recommend Level for any event!

When we looked for wedding venues in Baltimore, we kept running into places that charged thousands just to book the space. The Mt. Washington Tavern, on the other hadn, was in our budget, wonderfully unique, and run by a professional and welcoming family. They do it all in house: food, drink, flowers, cake, decor, tables and chairs, candles--all included in your price! Our coordinator, Mary, ensured that our day went off without a hitch and that the few outside vendors we needed (DJ and photographers) knew exactly where to be. Holly was fantastic for creating flower arrangements, bouquets, boutonnières, and unique cuff corsages. The staff kept the party flowing and made sure everyone had a great time. We loved the touches of Baltimore, from the crab cakes and oysters during cocktail hour to the Preakness decorations. Check out the Tavern if you want a space that will treat you like family and won't cost an arm and a leg!

Mike and Helen Katinas are wonderful, kind and loving owners of Annie’s. Food is handmade and fresh. The quality is without doubt the best. They have a wide and spacious area with large open windows which provides constant breeze and coverage in case of rain, great area for live music and good acoustics and water view and marina for sunset pictures. There is no stake house in the area that can match Annie’s. Highly recommended!

We booked the Barrel Room for our wedding and cannot possibly be more thrilled with what the people at Rye Street Tavern did for us. Multiple guests told us this was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. We think we caught some guests gazing more lovingly at the food than we did at each other during our vows! We’ve been to the restaurant multiple times before and can confirm that whether you order off the regular menu or get catering the food deserves every accolade it gets. The staff was similarly amazing. We give special thanks to Shannon, who helped us plan a wonderful wedding party and was so helpful throughout the process. During the event itself, no detail seemed too small for anybody at Rye Street. Everybody was extremely attentive and personable, checking in with us regularly to see if we needed anything. The setting for the tavern is beautiful inside and out. We’ve dined at the bar, in the main dining room, and had our wedding in the private upstairs Barrel Room. Each setting is elegant with tranquil views of the water. Thank you again to everybody at Rye Street Tavern!
