If I could give this venue 10 stars, I absolutely would. Our entire wedding weekend lived here …welcome party, ceremony, reception, after-party, AND Sunday brunch … and somehow it all felt effortless. By the second day, it genuinely felt like we owned the hotel. The staff all around was so kind, patient, and accommodating. Valet was lovely, parking was easy, and everyone made us feel taken care of from start to finish. And honestly we would a rowdy group of 225 insane people and no one even batted an eye at the dancing in the lobby or the excited screams coming from all directions. Now let me keep it real: I was stressed to the brink leading up to the welcome party. But the moment I stepped onto the property, my whole body just… exhaled. I finally felt at peace. Everything clicked. Everything felt handled. I actually got to enjoy my wedding because of how supported I felt. We originally worked with Megan, who was amazing. When she left mid-planning, I braced for chaos, but then Hilary stepped in like the wedding fairy godmother I didn’t know I needed. She picked up every detail without missing a beat. Hilary is fun, honest, warm, and just incredibly easy to talk to. She made me feel grounded when I was supposed to be spiraling and genuinely cared about getting everything right. She is a star. The venue itself has so much character, it’s definitely a busy place, and I can see how that could be a turn-off for some couples. But honestly? It ended up giving our weekend so much personality. Our guests LOVED it. The energy made everything feel alive instead of stiff or too quiet. And we captured some incredible photos that we cannot wait to upload. If you’re planning here, I highly recommend booking the Presidential Suite. Not only is it huge and perfect for getting ready… but you get access to the rooftop, which was such a gem for quiet moments, photos, and just having a private space above the buzz. If you want a wedding venue that’s vibrant, welcoming, flexible, and supported by actual humans who care, this is it. And absolutely ask for Hilary. She truly made our weekend unforgettable.

The staff at Best Western was absolutely fantastic . The cost was great & so was the food. It's Baltimore's best kept secret . Kim & Hin, Banquet Managers were very accommodating. They assisted me throughout all of the planning. The menu selection was diverse and the dishes were amazing. My guest are still talking about the food two weeks after the wedding.

When we visited Wylder Tilghman Island to see if it might be a venue contender for our wedding, it was the most beautiful June day on the Eastern Shore. The weather was perfect - sunny, blue skies, and a cool breeze - and we knew it would make the perfect place to welcome our family and friends and to celebrate our wedding.  Over the next several months we worked with staff from Wylder, primarily Alyssa, in planning our wedding with our wedding planner, Christine McFarlane. Alyssa was responsive to our questions and advocated for us to management regarding different negotiation points and contract questions. She was professional and kind all while making it clear that she wanted to work with us to host our wedding at Wylder.  As our wedding approached, we participated in a tasting at Wylder and at that time Alyssa shared with us that she would actually miss our wedding as she would be on parental leave. This made me nervous, reasonably so, as the woman who we had been coordinating everything with, wouldn't be there to help execute our big day. Alyssa maintained strong communication in the weeks ahead and ultimately connected us with KD, who would be our contact moving forward.  KD was excellent. She continued the strong communication style first exhibited by Alyssa and even proactively caught a few minor things for us to handle in advance of our arrival to Wylder for our wedding weekend. I should also mention that our wedding was KD's very first wedding at Wylder but you would have never known. She had a command of the space, back up plans for back up plans, and a warm demeanor that made us feel at ease.  When we arrived at Wylder for our wedding weekend, KD was present and available. She attended our rehearsal and worked with Christine to discuss rain plan options. We even hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome party on site, and the staff were attentive and personable. On the day of our wedding, it began pouring rain about 15 minutes before our ceremony was set to begin. KD and Christine quickly pivoted our ceremony and cocktail hour locations and they went off without a hitch. The best part was that I didn't even need to be involved because I trusted them implicitly to handle the change. And while it wasn't the Eastern Shore day we saw when we first visited, the moody skies and covered pavilion made the perfect setting for our wedding ceremony. Throughout the reception and after party, KD checked on my husband and me, but not in an overbearing way, and the other staff, specifically Chef Chris, Charles, and Keith, were absolutely wonderful. It's also worth mentioning that Chef Chris' food is delicious and he will work with you to design menus that work for you and your guests.  We had the very best experience hosting our wedding at Wylder Tilghman Island. If you have the opportunity to host a wedding or event there, do it; the venue and the staff are incredible!

Our wedding went as planned thanks to our venue! Mr. Grace was so attentive and flexible. As soon as something changed I was able to email him quickly and he made the adjustments and he made sure things ran smoothly the day of with what was in his control and his domain. I would recommend the Westin for weddings over and over again. The bridal suite was wonderful and the staff was great with accommodations within their limits of course. We had a great wedding. All of our guests gushed about the food and the venue!! One of my friends is getting married there next year now because she loved how my wedding was!
